I sure am. They seemed to have opened the car up a pretty fair amount. It just sucks that Ford had to make the driver side cat part of the exhaust manifold. Found a good fab guy who did the install for $160.

I can try to upload a video of the car sometime today. I love how it sounds now with the deletes, h-pipe and stock mufflers.

Love the Lamborghini video! I saw your car at the car show/Dyno shootout a couple weeks ago. I hung out by your car for a while hoping to talk with you as I'm getting ready to install a Vortech. Never did see you until went to the Dyno, but I had to leave. I had the orange 2015 with the same wheels as you. Anyway, cool car and great videos!

I think the wheels on the Camaro was slowing it down, they're like fruity little pinwheels ... :lol:

I remember seeing your car there! Good choice of wheels! Sucks we didn't get a chance to talk. I was there with quite a few friends, so I floated around a lot. Feel free to shoot me a message if you do want to talk about the blower install!

I ended up running out of 5th gear well before end of 1/2 mile (3.73), so I was only able to trap 160 MPH. I'm swapping to 3.31 next year. Still not completely sure why I was able to trap 165 last time I went.

Was the hellcat stock? I was a little surprised that it seemed to be a decent amount faster.

Also, how does the event work? It looks like there is a short distance where you ease off the line before really getting on the throttle. I assume that's a safety feature to prevent people from launching hard and losing control. Looks like a lot of fun!

Hellcat was far from stock. He was running 2 power adders and somewhere around 950rwhp.

In order to do a rolling 1/2 mile, they start us about 300 feet before the actual start of the measured 1/2 (you can see start cones in the video which is where everyone goes WOT). But, they don't care if you do a standing start with a hard launch, but it's tough on an un-prep'd surface.

It's a lot of fun! I definitely recommend giving it a try to anyone who hasn't raced this type of event. There are different organizers. This was put on by Omega Motorsports and they run a very laidback event. No classes - just line up with whoever you want.

JohnG, were you only on 619whp for this event? You were walking those cars pretty hard, way to represent. I'm dying to start doing these type events, looks like a lot of fun, thanks for posting!
