So, due to my recent "your engine needs to be replaced, please enjoy driving this shitbox rental for an unknown duration while we leave your car sit on our lot exposed to the elements due to engines being back ordered" fiasco, I've been reading over my warranty contract.
See my engine warranty issue here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66091
The dealer I bought the car from, sold me 6 year 100k mile Ford ESP for $1475. I considered this a GREAT deal at that price, especially since it is transferable. This was even before I found out how unreliable this car would be. Within the first week, and 300 miles, I had it at a dealer due to a failed axle.
Anyway, I found something very interesting in the 10 page contract:

Now I was VERY skeptical of this warranty covering my car. The dealer assured me it was, which I imagined was sort of like most adults assuring themselves that they are all "better than average" drivers.
So the next day I contacted Ford using the MyFord website (or w/e it's called, I'm too lazy/furious to go to it and confirm at the moment). I saved my chat log with a representative who confirmed that my car is covered.
Also the contract states if the vehicle is ineligible, I am entitled to a refund.

I haven't brought this up with my dealer, or my regional Ford Service rep who I'm in contact with due to my engine issue. I'm curious to what you all think of this, before I contact Ford.
