Yes, please share! I have a 2016 GT3 and a 2017 Shelby GT350R coming very soon. I'm curious to hear your thoughts as I have not driven a Shelby.

Thanks,
Adam

Just go this car and I am pleasantly surprised how great the color looks in person. The car looks very aggressive.

If anyone has any questions regarding how it compares to a 12c or gt3rs, please let me know.
is this the car from the SF Bay Area that just sold (listed on CL)?

If anyone wants specifics let me know, but i will just give a quick run down.

Acceleration --- The Mac 12c and its not even close. Then the rs and close behind is the 350r. That doesn't mean the Shelby is slow, because it is not, but you can definitely feel the 3600 pounds compared to the other two. And the 350r accelerates quite differently than the other two. There is no burst, but a brut force push behind your back that keeps thrusting you forward.

Braking-The rs and Shelby are pretty even. I can't tell the difference, thats how good the 350r is. I am actually shocked how well it stops, and its taking me time to get used to it. It feels a little heavy during accelerating, but you def do not feel it when you brake. Its amazing how they accomplished that. A distant third and I mean a very distant third is the 12c. It sometimes scares me how bad the braking is for a car thats soo fast.

Comfort. The 12c and very close second is the 350r. The 350r is very smooth and quiet on the freeway with the exhaust turned off. Up to 60 or 70 is very quiet, but its when you get over triple digits (on the race track ofcourse) is where you notice the difference between the two, with respect to interior noise levels. The gt3rs is the loudest of the bunch, which surprises me, but it wasn't built for freeway cruising. And as far seating comfort, I think they are all evenly matched, except the 350r and the rs are much easier to get in and out of.

Noise---- Let me start by saying:hail:. There is nothing close to the sound of the 350R. When i turn the exhaust button on, I feel like Maximus in the Gladiator, when he says. "On my command unleash hell".:eyebulge: There's no point in mentioning the other two, because they don't sound like a 350R. :frusty, but I will. The rs, well, it sounds like a porsche, and the mac sounds like a muted noise of thunder.

I can't write about the handling until i get some miles on the car, but overall, I am shocked how beautiful and menacing the car looks in person.
The interior is still Ford'ish, and the car still has some bounce on the surface streets, but then again, if you are comparing the 350r to 200 or 300 thousand dollar cars, then ford has done something right.

I'm sorry if the comparo is not detailed, but if anyone has specific or detailed questions, please feel free to ask.

Bingo on the 350R sound. It can be almost offensive... Notice I said almost.:)

Just can't get enuff!
First, wow a GT3 RS! Presuming a 991. Oh I'd give up 3 cars and a 3rd digit for that.... at sticker. :D

Seriously though what an arsenal. I'd love to have the same except substitute the 12C for something else...

Tested my brakes today, a teenager literally turned out in front of me. I thought I was toast, but she hunkered down like a boss and even let me evade across 2 lanes under control and get into a parking lot safely.

Damn teenagers

Great comparos

Not sure if you have seen threads about the dealer leaving front and rear shock spacers in the R's and how it causes the ride to be bouncy. They're yellow in front and located between the spring coils and white in the rear and located on top of the shocks.

Ditto, at sticker the 991GT3RS is an amazing bargain, at the prices some dealers and brokers have been asking, not so much. I was thinking of putting down a deposit on a 960/988 but not sure if I feel it's going to be worth it (probably will...)

Have to agree too about the 12C, I certainly wouldn't kick one out of bed but I find the 675LT so much more appealing.

But I digress, congrats on the R!!! And it sounds to be in great company. :)
