Same here, love it. Wife came home and grabbed keys, said she had to take it for a spin, was gone almost 45 minutes.........Shifteck FTW!Shifteck resonator delete x-pipe, absolutely no regrets. Sounds fantastic!!!!!
I agree with resonator delete. Awesome.I totally agree. Cold starts can be a bit loud, but it quiets down quickly. I always refer to normal mode as polite mode.
What he said.No Regrats!
what makes this better then just the basic cut out and welding in of straight pipes. seems to be cheaper and most muffler shops can do this in an hour. thanks.Shifteck resonator delete x-pipe, absolutely no regrets. Sounds fantastic!!!!!
Yes - I would love to know if there is any sound difference between a resonator delete (cut out), shiftek (single x) and the corsa (double helix).what makes this better then just the basic cut out and welding in of straight pipes. seems to be cheaper and most muffler shops can do this in an hour. thanks.
I have the delete already, but what would I have to do to add Shifteck as far as the welds on the stainless.?Would they have to recut the straight pipes? With the Shifteck you have the option to cut the neckdown portion off so you get much better flow (and it'll be slightly louder too). I definitely noticed a increase in responsiveness and upper rpm power too. Not huge it but it was noticeable for sure.
Major advantage to me, is that there was no welding required. The Factory X pipe was also replaced with an allegedly better flowing piece that bolted right up using the stock clamps up front. This all can be reversed if needed without going back to a shop. Just 4 clamps (2 factory, 2 supplied with the resonator delete) and the stock X pipe is back in place.what makes this better then just the basic cut out and welding in of straight pipes. seems to be cheaper and most muffler shops can do this in an hour. thanks.
I did a write up on this on SVTPI have the delete already, but what would I have to do to add Shifteck as far as the welds on the stainless.?Would they have to recut the straight pipes?
Thanks.
I was just looking and pictures and see it replaces everything.I did a write up on this on SVTP
