I installed the BMR handling springs (SP083) today on my 15 GT with PP.

The install went pretty smooth, they definitely weigh more then the stock springs (makes sense). The car rides great over bumps, and handles a lot better. Plus it got rid of the squat/ lift when you get on it or shift. I wish there was a AutoX or drag race goin on this weekend.

Here are some pics....

Overall impression of them so far? Definitely tempted in them as I do auto-x/road course stuff but I don't plan on buying new struts/shocks just yet.

Hopefully they're not too stiff or bouncy with the OEM PP parts.

Oh, and is something rubbing on your strut? Looks like metal is showing where paint got scraped off.

I travel to a lot of Pro Solo's and Nationals myself. So far I am Very impressed with them and the PP shocks together. It's Not bouncy or too stiff. The rubbing was from when I had negative camber and the 19x10 MRR wheels. I need a little spacer in the front to run that much camber. My plan is to get a set of coilovers and camber plates in the future.

Great, be sure to post in a week or two once you get some more miles on her. I'm pretty much dead set on these come summer time but wanted a couple people to try them our first and hear their thoughts :D

I've looked at a lot of pictures and I will say I wish the nose came down a hair lower and the rear end up a tad. Oh well, if they perform well then I won't be complaining.

Looks great, love the wheels! Did you get back into factory specs without camber bolts in front?

Can you tell acceleration difference with the wheels?

Will do,....... I think it looks better in person, but the front could be a little lowerlower.

Looks great. I've been wondering how the ride height is on theses springs, I don't want to go too low and kill my drivability. Any chance you could do a closer pic of the wheels to better show the ride height? Are you having much for clearance issues?

Been eyeing these for a bit while waiting for good shocks to come out.

I think the stance shown on your pics done immediately after install look great - not too 'gangster' low.

Has it changed at all over the last week? I'm thinking BMR's springs won't sag over time but does that also mean they don't settle?

Would you be so kind as to measure clearance now under the front lip, (mm if you can)?

Thanks.
