Ok, I’ve noticed a change between the 2015-2017 SYNC3 vs the 2018’s.

In my prior 2016, with my iPod hooked up to the USB port inside of the center console, when songs where playing, if I clicked the steering wheel mute button, the event would not only mute the song but also pause it simultaneously.

In my 2018, the same iPod is plugged into the same USB location, however when I click the steering wheel mute button, only the volume is muted. The song does not get paused (which sucks).

Anyone know of a possible Forscan hack to make the mute button have 2 simultaneous functions like the prior S550’s?

Yea, I know there’s a pause button on the SYNC3 screen, but it was so much better if going through a Drive-thru and being able to mute/pause in one click, then resuming the same song after ordering...

Ah, I missed your post on this! It's driving me nuts.

I'm going to report this to the service department. I just hope they don't make me jump though hoops and can just open a ticket with Ford. I feel silly about going in but I think this is a software bug and not a feature.
