Hi guys,

I have an 2015 Ecoboost Premium, larger version of the infotainment screen and I store music on SD card. Logic of music player is driving me crazy.

1. Each folder represents one album - but songs are for some reason played in alphabetical order. That is ruining some albums completely. Is there any way to fix it?

2. Particular folder is selected and all songs have played. Then: silence, no automatic move to next folder. If forward button is used, the same folder is played again. Any way to get around this? If I select play all, it always starts at the first folder...

3. Voice command: Play song A. What is the next song? Not the following one in folder/album of song A unfortunately. But it plays next alphabetical song from all folders, i.e. song B from whatever folder.

Apparently, all songs get indexed by alphabetical order and this setting overrides all features of media player. Is there any fix?

Thank you

I just use shuffle.
Seems to be the easiest way.

I've had this same issue - GT Sync 3 for me. I agree it's a complete failure of design. In my case I listen to audio books, so playing out of order, or not moving to the next disc automatically is a total pain. My solution has been to download a program called Mp3Tag, which lets you batch-rename files according to a pattern. Generally something like <disc>_<track>.mp3. So track 3 on the 4th disc is called 04_03.mp3. Then put all of the tracks in a single folder. It's a bit of a pain up front but makes listening a lot more pleasant.
