I'm getting the alpriority laser/radar detector. It comes with a mute wire that will mute the radio/music when I get an alert. Where do I plug it in the radio system?

no mute wire... its done thru data.

it means there is no actual wire that mutes the radio... when you press mute on the steering wheel or radio... the command is sent thru data and the radio mutes.
