ok gonna look at mine tonight I have a
Mishimoto Direct Fit Baffled Oil Separator System
I thought I removed that line to install it?
is this on the Driver or passenger side?
You removed the line, not the PCV valve, and then connected the new hose from the CC to the PCV valve. What boosted_orange is talking about is removing the PCV valve itself, drilling out its insides to turn it into a simple tube, and putting it back. Then you connect the house from the CC back to the gutted PCV valve. The only problem for you is that the Mishimoto CC doesn't have a check valve, so it can't be used with a gutted PCV valve, since one of the functions of the PCV valve is to act as a check valve to keep boost out of the crankcase. The UPR dual-valve CC does have such a check valve.

Ok thank you I understand how he is doing it... the next is why
(it might have been covered)
Yes I have a Mishimoto CC but there has never been any significant oil build up, so I don't think that's were the oil is coming from.
What I have done that seems to have helped

Changed oil to Castrol conventional 20-50 raise Idle to 950..
(raising the Idle maybe just opening the TB enough to drop vacuum..
I would like to experiment more with this but the SCT tuner I have you can't adjust TB position)
If the vacuum at Idle is too high a motor will suck oil by the valve seals

the only time I see any smoking now is at the track when my cut out has been open for a little while,
prior to changing oil to 20-50 every time the car idled more than 1 min it was a smoke show

I'm not trying to start a fight just a dialog..

This isn't my first rodeo, but I not sure if knowing my were I come from would help here

The why is that the crank case pressure is too high at idle. By drilling out the PCV the excess pressure vents easier. There's likely more than one way to skin this cat, but boosted_orange is the only one that solved the problem with stock idle so far.

It's been covered in this thread why the car is smoking..excessive crank case pressure causing the oil not to drain fast enough from the turbo causing oil to get past the seal onto the exhaust side of the turbo causing the smoke. With the stock exhaust there is enough pressure to keep the oil at bay but when an OR downpipe is introduced the exhaust back pressure drops below the engine pressure which causes the oil at the turbo not to drain fast enough that's why the smoke is only present at idle

As I've mentioned this is what I did is this what the dealer will come up with to permanently fix the issue I don't know, but it's what I did. People can do what I did or not that's up to everyone. I've put out info as the purpose of a forum anyhow my car doesn't smoke anymore and I'm able to enjoy my car without the embarrassing smoke...

I like what you did.. I just didn't understand it fully until now..
the only problem I have is my CC I guess I could get a different one or maybe add a PVC Valve? then do the mod

If you have the mishimoto it's just a matter of adding a check valve on the clean side (intake side) just to prevent boost pressure to be introduced into the CC

Just Google "catch can check valve" you'll find plenty of options, just measure the diameter of you hose and buy one that matches.

I crawled under the car lat night, and tried for 45 minutes to remove the PCV valve - unsuccessfully.
I just couldnt access the clip well enough, to release it, so it could be removed.

Going to try again and remove the whole freakin' unit off the oilpan, then remove the PCV when its on the bench! Sheesh!
