It was under this heading

418-00 Module Communications Network 2016 Mustang
Description and Operation Procedure revision date: 07/15/2015

So section 18, 418, Then just Comm Network Description of operation.

My workshop is actually Fords internal site for Technicians. It's an interactive "catalog" if you will of the multiple pdfs and pages. They make it saveable but in pieces. Suppose it's because they revise pages all the time.

Thanks a lot. I saved it.

Regarding hosting it separately, is there a reason you think that makes it more accessible, particularly down the road? I figured hosting it in the forums made it more likely to still be accessible in the future. Its just that I see old DIY threads that are now useless because the OP has deleted the pics or their account wherever they hosted (or the hosting company changed policies - are you listening Imgur?). I'm sure forums do periodic housecleaning but can't remember threads with missing forum hosted pics.

Just interested for deciding where I should host.
You raise a good point. Here's a proper file attachment.

Has anyone found a way to have the 12v power outlets turn off when the ignition is turned off?
Yes, number of players, zero. Sorry, just watched War Games again.
The F150 guys seem to be on to this one here but I don't know if there is a direct translation to our cars.

Also interested in this, the F150 guys have their address location figured out for this.

it appears to be the same location on our vehicles, at least... the values match...

can't test right now (don't have anything to test the 12v), but perhaps:

726-39-01 1194 0100 000D

to

726-39-01 0000 0100 0068

to have a zero timeout

If nobody else beats me to it, my ODBLink MX will finally be here Tuesdayish and I will test it.

Agent_S550 ,

I would like to enable the rear diff temp display on my '16 PP; we have the rear diff temp sensor. They have done it with the GT350's.
Is it included in the firmware for the IPC on the GT's?
I've been wondering - the GT350's have a different instrument cluster. In terms of physical gauges the tach shows revs all the way to 9K instead of 8K, speedo goes to 200 instead of 160. Is the center LCD display (and whatever controls it) different as well? Could it be that we'll never be able to enable GT350 features without a cluster swap?

If this isn't the best thread of the century, can someone post a link to a better one, assuming I can take that much goodness.

I wouldn't want this for normal use of my car but would love a way to permanently lock wet/snow mode just for when leaving the car at the dealer. It would reduce the amount of abuse a dealer employee could do or at least spoil all the fun. LoL
I would, Imagine on a rainy day you have to make say 4 or 5 stops, every time you have to remember to hit the furthest rocker switch to put it back to snow/wet mode, where if it remembered it, you wouldnt have to, so even if your the type that drives in sport mode all the time, why not have it remember that setting.

You cant lock the settings that they cant change, but you can use the mykey function and set limits to the second key so they cant joy ride and abuse it.

The one I'd like to add to the list is the possibility of adding the modes and toggle switches to a non-premium car. Essentially I'd like to take a Sync 3 center stack with toggle switches from a premium, and plop it in my car. It would take activating the ability to turn the modes on, activating Touch Screen integration, and all that stuff. But it would be nice to be able to convert a base car over.

Would it be worth pulling all the codes while a premium car is in normal, then flip into sport, pull the codes, then flip into track, pull the codes and so on through wet/snow? Then look for differences.

I don't know if any bytes are changed in any module we can see but if they were...

Well that would help to see what byte is changing, but not where its remembered (if at all, I would suspect it is, but who knows), but the other things is, is it in the BCM or another module, I'm GUESSING its in the BCM or BCM-B.

Personally I would never use Wet/Snow. The nannies are very lenient in Normal or Sport in rain which is rare in Phoenix and snow is non-existent. Not to mention that even snow bound Mustang owners would endure the shame of admitting they needed wet/snow mode. ;)

Well for us Unfortunate people that have to deal with snow and rain :p, it would help, And I know alot of people who drive in sports mode, why have to change the setting every freaking time.
