  1. Tail of the dragon trip

Hey all, planning a trip next summer for the tail of the dragon. We wanted to go this year, but my FIL is having an operation, so pushed back a year. We live in central Indiana. Just looking for tips. Currently my plan is to stop by the NCM in bowling green. Eat lunch. Then head to Robbinsville...
  2. Actuator for exhaust- location

Going free flow LTH (Texas speed) on my 18 in a few weeks. Found these actuators/kit as a possible option to allow for sound control. Has anyone found these to be useful? Is it a pain to use? My thoughts were to buy 2 (one for driver side, one for passenger) and install where the cats used to...
  3. Summer tires

I am planning a trip with a local car group to the corvette museum and then the trail of the dragon in July this year. My normal tires are the continental DWS06+. They’re great tires, but not the best for summer performance. I tried the atturo az850s last year. Reviews seemed positive for cheap...
  4. Fender bender-minimal damage- advice

I got very lightly rear ended the other day. Pretty straightforward fender bender, barely any damage. The truck that tapped my bumper left a couple scuffs and one crack measuring a little over an inch. The crack was my only real concern. There is no other damage so far as I can tell. I have...
  5. N/A flex tune understanding

I have my car tuned by Wengerd. I ran the 93 tune, then e85 for most of summer. Now that temperatures will start dropping as well as E85 quality, I swapped to a flex tune. He told me if I was going to use just 93 for winter, use the 93 tune instead. I was under the impression a flex tune is so...
  6. E85 vs 93 Wengerd Northside Indianapolis

Hey all. Recently went with Wengerd tune. I bought both 93 and E85. Loved the 93 tune. The E85 just doesn’t seem to be anything more as far as torque comparatively. I emailed back and forth with Wengerd to gain a better understanding. He said they have seen some cases where the 93 is better...
  7. Did you need cradle lockouts stock?

I’m on my second GT. My first one was a 19 301a w 3.15 gears. It had wheel hop. As far as I knew, it was stock (until I added a few small things). My current one is an 18 400a with 3.55 gears. Both 10 speeds. My current one is objectively faster, assuming the gauge reads equally for 0-60...
  8. A10 overheating on highway pulls

I took notes as soon as I could after this happened. This is my second 10 speed. First one had 3.15 gears and never once had an issue. The current car is a 3.55 car with the A10. Threads I’m finding are specifically for track use. I was cruising and switched to S+ mode from normal, then went...
  9. Mode retention and tuning

I have the 10r80 and still researching for tuning plans next year. Was considering shoemaker. While I think Lund makes great tunes, their service is unacceptable. (Yes I know, people here love Wengerd. Have not ruled him out.) My buddy has the 6r80 and recently got tuned by shoemaker. He does...
  10. TPMS change parameters

Is there a way to change the parameters of the TPMS sensors? I had the 20" upgraded wheels on mine when I bought it. (265/35/20). Changed them to 19" wheels with 275/40/19. Calculator says to use 29 psi instead for these, not the 35 psi for stock size. With the weather change, my light came on...
  11. Indiana 20” OEM wheels

Selling my 20” OEM wheels, went aftermarket. Tires still have some life left in them with 4-5/32 tread left. Stock was 9/32. 3 are near perfect condition, one has a minor scuff due to a flat, which was patched. Asking $750 OBO. Prefer pickup in Westfield, IN. They will be taken off the car July 22.
  12. 20” OEM wheels

Is anyone in Indiana (or willing to pickup) 20” OEM wheels? The tires are at 4 and 5-32 tread. One wheel has a minor scuff from a flat that was patched. Went to R350 19” wheels and have no need for these. Looking for $750 OBO. In central Indiana. Strongly prefer pickup, pain to haul these in my car.
  13. E85 longevity/reliability

How long have you all been running e85? Prefer non boosted answers. Considering tune, but it’s my daily. Would like an idea on a timeframe for e85 vs 93 (roughly 200k seems to be the normal)
  14. 19 or 20, aftermarket or stock

Not sure where to go. Picked up an 18 GT premium with 20k miles. Stock wheels/ tires are 265/35/20. Still has the stock tires from 2017. Should replace those soon being 7 years out. Can’t decide if should stick with the same tire size and keep these wheels, or go to something else. Wider tires...
  15. Winter separate or same tires year round

I live in central Indiana. Our winters are nothing too bad compared to the lake effect I grew up with. (I’ve never had problems with driving conditions different from any other vehicle here). I’m getting another GT. Can’t decide if it’s worth keeping 2 sets of wheels and tires, or have a good...
  16. Wheel sensors

I got a set of winter wheels and tires from a buddy. They do not have sensors in them at all. I did confirm this by running the calibration setup, but the tool wouldn’t pick up anything. It is randomly giving me sensor readings. We thought it was picking up the original sensors in my stock...
  17. 10 second 1/4 18-20

I had a 19 GT. Sold it a few years ago when the market exploded. Regretted my decision ever since. Looking to get back into one in late spring next year. I like the 10 speed. According to Alex at Lund, the formulae for an NA 10 second is fairly simple. I’ll list below. What are your times if...
  18. Staggered setup

I was wondering what a typical stagger setup is. I currently have 20” wheels with a 255/35/20 front and 295/35/20 rear. There are a few variables, so I’m not sure what would benefit me as a daily driver. I like the staggered look. Currently have Nitto 555 G2s and they’re awful. If I give gas on...
  19. Corbeau seats opinion

I have a 2019 GT with the 301a package. I’ve considered getting corbeau leather seats to replace the driver and passenger seats, but not sure if it’s worth the $1200 I’d spend. Has anyone bought these and wished they went with something else or stuck with the stock cloth seats?
  20. New wheels

Maybe this is a silly question, but I’m going to look at wheels that were on a 2006 mustang. I have a 2019. They are both 18” wheels. Same lug pattern. What would cause them to not fit? Don’t want to waste my money if they won’t fit anyways. Attached image of what I’m looking at. TIA
