anybody try this Rear Difficuser? I like it because it seems like it would clean up the area at the rear of the car. the rear bumper seems to be very susceptible to catching air and I've been thinking about correcting for that.
thoughts...
Okay so i made the swap from the dual rate steeda springs to the minimal drop springs.
TLDR: they feel good but I did have some leveling issues that may or may not be my car so just be advised.
Alright so money shot time:
So here's the skinny. my front end us virtually stock as far as...
I've had the dual rate springs (non magneride) installed for a few weeks so here's my thoughts.
Relevant mods with the pro action adjustable shocks and competition rear sway bar on the lightest (softer than stock) setting.
The pros:
Incredible handling and the ride can be tolerable. Prior to...
I'm not a brand loyalist and I never thought i'd be saying this about a mustang... but this thing is unreal. the s550 chassis is heavy but with a little careful modification you can get a LOT out of it.
its just a PP1 6spd 22 GT with some suspension mods... but man is it fun.
all mods...
I've been sitting on these parts for a while and finally got around to installing them this weekend.
the setup:
steeda dual rate springs (new)
steeda adjustable pro shocks/struts (fronts are new)
steeda competition swaybar on the softest setting (softer than stock) (new)
FTBR LCA bearing...
SO for the last year and a half i've been dealing with an awful divorce (never get married and if you do get a prenup). Last thursday we got property sorted out so i could finally move on financially which means... bluey gets paid off.
feels good to get a win finally :)
thats all!
Its a different kind of tick, this one comes from the trunk area....
I'm not flippin crazy or a karen. Imagine living with that every day in your brand new car.
I complain a lot about the shortcomings of these cars but I gotta give ford some props on one thing...
working on this car is really easy. its like stuff was actually very well thought out. I just got done adding some sound deadening to the doors and it was really easy. nothing broke coming...
these mother flippers are some BIG bertha. i got tired of waiting on ford to fix the torn diff bushing so i'm installing half of this big bertha kit with these inserts. i may get some more NVH but these suckers ain't going anywhere. UPDATE: the only additional noise is when putting the car into...
Guys, last night i went up to see if the dealer had a new ranger. While I was there I noticed tons of trucks and mustangs. So, i gave the new mustang a gander. The outside isn't as bad as I once thought but man the interior... I can't get beyond the ipads on the dash. its distracting as all hell...
So like I've been wondering this for a while, LMR doesn't have reviews for any products anymore.
Has anyone else noticed this? Seems very strange to nuke all the reviews from your website.
Update: it appears to be a bug on their site with firefox. nevermind. chrome shows them.
I got used to the hot summers, it was chilly, i didn't let these shitty Pzeros heat up enough before giving it full send in track mode... and a curb decided to object.
behold... my shame:
guys, last night i had this horrible dream. it felt so real. I just can't even describe it any other way.
i dreamt that i traded my s550 in on an S650.... and it even had the light interior.
WTF is wrong with me and how do i make it stop?
I think the next mustang, not the S650 camarostain, will have a transaxle. it would solve many of the problems with the current IRS. weak diff bushings, weak IRS subframe bushings, more weight back there to absorb nvh, shifting weight to the rear to make things more balanced etc.
GTD stuff will...
