Hi guys, I installed Ford Performance street lowering springs. 1000 miles ago and here's a before and after picture. There's no difference. Anybody else have the same thing happen? Front is clearly lowered but rear is the same. Yes the springs are seated properly.
Hey all,
Bought a transmission fluid filter from the ford dealer and when I shake it there is something rattling on the inside.
(video)
Is this normal? Can’t see what it is rattling on the inside.
Thanks
Thanks for the reply. Yes I was looking for electrical issues because of this from the ford service manual which says there should be no voltage between that pin and ground. But both our cars have voltage present there so it's definitely normal.
Thanks mate I really appreciate it.
This is a screenshot from the ford service manual.
Which is why I've been looking for a short that doesn't exist!!!
Edit: and sorry the picture had the connecter still plugged in so my bad for making that confusing.
Thanks for trying. I measured it by disconnecting the connector from the sensor and used a thin piece of wire to probe the female socket.
Thanks for the reply.
Crankcase ventilation pressure sensor.
I have a check engine light with code P051B - crankcase pressure sensor unexpected range

Hey guys,
Was wondering if anyone has some time, if they could measure the voltage between the rightmost pin on this connector and ground with engine off, ignition on on a 2015 or later EcoBoost.
I’m getting 5.6 volts and I believe this is a short circuit but it might be normal so I’m just...
Thanks for the tips guys. Update: I disconnected the PCM side of the wiring harness and looked for the 5.6V on the PCM pins. No voltage so the short circuit isn’t inside the PCM, it’s in the monster wiring harness. Would buying a short circuit finder be useful here?
Car is under warranty just...
I’ve had a crankcase pressure sensor DTC which I posted about earlier and no one could help. I’ve now done some diagnosing using the shop manual and I’ve found the problem. But now I have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
Following the HG Pinpoint test in the shop manual, I...
12 months ago I installed the Ford Performance oil catch can on both sides of my car. The passenger side of the car has a Crankcase Pressure Sensor in the PCV line.
The catch can has been installed for about a year now with no issues (Aside: I’ve never had to empty either catch can yet which I...
Does the ECU need to know what calipers are connected?
Do the GT's and Ecoboost have a different ABS calibration/tune
Is there a Forscan setting for defining the brake caliper parameters?
Don't wanna do this if it's not 100% OEM like.
Any knowledge from a tech/engineer would be appreciated
Dealer didn't have brake pads so I bought Wagner brake pads.
The brake dust is crazy. Any recommendations?
Front is OEM pads, rear is Wagner
Both wheels and calipers cleaned at the same time. Now the difference.
After doing donuts I get the following codes attached. Some of them involve invalid data given to the restraint control module which worries be because I don't want this to happen
Something that needs to be checked out?
I have a 2019 EB and I just installed Ford Performance catch cans on both sides of the engine.
Do you think there has been significant carbon buildup on intake valves in 21,000 miles?
Also, what's the benefit of doing this rather than just venting it to atmosphere and plugging off the intake...
UPDATE: appears that the noise was not due to running over a curb since the same part on both sides are making the noise. Probably from hard cornering and braking (never track driven)
Legit the most helpful comment.
Jk. Many people were helpful.
Anyways, I got the same $200, 30 min install...
Thanks for your reply Norm, I realized the same part I pointed out in my video also had some play in it when I jacked it up and wiggled it. I’m going to be replacing that. $198 and easy job. Learnt my lesson the easy way
