Well, I went ahead and swapped the left and right sides and ran them on the inside of the sway bar. They're a little awkward. I'll check them again in a few hundred miles to see how they're holding up. I may have created other problems but but they definitely won't rub on the tires.

They're the stock 305/35-19 Michelins on the stock wheels.

That's a good idea. What did you zip tie them to? I was thinking about swapping the R and L brackets and running them on the inside of the sway bar.

What would be the point of keeping the stock amp?

I'd like to keep the spare tire. Hence removing the factory amp and replacing it. Here's what I have now. It's a 4ohm to work with the stock setup but I'm not opposed to swapping it out for a 2ohm.

What I'd like to do is pull out the stock amp and replace it with a small DSP amp and some nice speakers. Although I'm just in the initial stages of research, I was looking at something from Audison or Match. The requirement is to keep the new amp in the same spot as the factory amp. If I can...

I always thought if I get hit hard enough in the ass end to where it totaled the car, I'd probably find a convertible donor and swap all the Shelby parts over. Either way, glad it can be repaired and continued to be enjoyed!

Where are these holes in the firewall? Looks like to the outside of the brake booster? Trying to look at the mirror image since mine is a LHD. Left her out in a pretty bad storm and the driver side front and rear has wet carpet.

It sort-of works. I'm sure it's better than a straight adapter.
