  1. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

It's not an eyesight thing. My eyes are fine...I'm a pilot. :D It's that the LCDs are at a different level of brightness relative to the actual round gauges. It's a GT350 so only color is white. Was thinking (hoping) there might be some adjustment (turn up the gauges or turn down the...
  2. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

Yeah, mine's the opposite. I feel like I'm going to get a sunburn on my face when they're up full bright at night.
  3. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

It's more that the gauge lights are too dim relative to the LCD screens.
  4. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

It does have a night setting, which does help. But it doesn't control brightness. Brightness is greyed out. And, there's no adjustment for the center LCD screen (other than dimming everything). The only lighting adjustment in the center LED is the autolamp delay.
  5. Gauges Too Dark/Screens Too Bright

My search came up empty, so it might just be my car (or more than likely, me). It's a 2020 GT350, so the older style round gauges with the LCD screen in the middle and 8 inch infotainment screen. Both screens are too bright compared to the gauges. When I dim the lights to make the screens...
  6. B&O 10" sub replacement guide

From the first post...this worked for me.
  7. 2017 GT 350

My GT350 is my commuter car/daily driver and it's been nothing but flawless. Before I bought it, after reading online I was scared I'd have to baby it for fear of running it out of oil or blowing it up while accelerating on the on-ramp. I remember checking my oil every week for the first...
  8. Is there supposed to be a tow hook in the trunk?

No kidding. Those welds look sketch.
  9. DOT 5.1 Fluid Instead of DOT 4

I also came across a blurb that said the 5.1 was more hydroscopic than the DOT 4, but nothing official.
  10. DOT 5.1 Fluid Instead of DOT 4

    Well doing a little bit of google-fu, I've found that the DOT 5.1 probably isn't the way to go, even on a street car. Motul DOT 5.1 Viscosity at 212°F - 2.1 mm²/s Viscosity at -40° - 820.0 mm²/s Dry boiling point - 522.0 °F Wet boiling point - 365.0 °F Motul 660 Viscosity at 212°F - 2.6...
  11. DOT 5.1 Fluid Instead of DOT 4

    I've read that. Thanks.
  12. DOT 5.1 Fluid Instead of DOT 4

Kind of surprised I haven't been able to find much info on this on the forum... My GT350 is the only vehicle I own that calls for DOT 4 brake fluid. Everything else is DOT 5.1, so I have a bunch of it on the shelf. Is there any down side to using DOT 5.1 instead of DOT 4? It's just a daily...
  13. Auto lock?

Always hated auto-lock. The wife and I had twins in 2010 and we needed a bigger vehicle to haul them and their crap around so we bought a brand new Yukon XL. The first trip we took, the boys were 5 weeks old and we probably had less than 100 miles on the Yukon, not even knowing all of it's...
  14. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Just to add, since we have all the posts about pedals... Someone posted a while back about spacing the gas pedal a little bit closer to the driver to make heel-toe easier since it would be more in line with the brake pedal. Some people have used washers but I decided to 3D print the file that...
  15. What did you do to your GT350 today?

It's just screwed into the floor mat. With the mounting bolts they send you binding nuts with small cleats on them that kind of grab into the back of the mat. It's a pretty straight forward installation.
  16. What did you do to your GT350 today?

It went really well. One of the reasons I chose the MM design was because it had dedicated bolt holes. No offense to the poster above, but I didn't want random holes being used for attachment where maybe only a couple lined up in one pedal but others lined up in the other. Installation was...
  17. How did you mount your amp(s)?

I LOLed. "Sorry to interrupt my post..."
  18. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I've had SRP pedals on my GT350 for some time now. They have been awesome. I recently contacted Brian to see if he could make me a heel plate to match the MM pedals since there wasn't one listed on the website. He basically said "no problem" and custom made it for me. It arrived today and...
  19. Washing the Airaid GT350 filter outputs blue tint

I washed mine with Simple Green exactly how they do it in the video and they don't have a speck of blue on them any more after two-three washes. (I have two of them that I swap out when I change the oil).
  20. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Looks great! With a 2020 car and the illuminated mirrors when you open the door, you'd think they'd be plug and play with maybe a forscan change.
