I would be interested if the side vents from the new Max Cooling Kit could be purchased separate and put on my 2017.
Should help with the under the hood temps.
These cars trap a lot of heat under the Hoods.
I have a 2017 RS3 and since I don't do any Track Days or extend WFO events, I just run Pennzoil 5w30 Ultra Platinum.
It kind of splits the difference in weights and Walmart.com, it's about $55.00 for 2 -5 quart bottles. Very good price.
The Grabber Blue is my favorite as the Roush I have now, GB, 17, and yes, Auto, is what got me to sell my 2013 Shelby GT500.
I had made a list of those requirements', and lo and behold, it was found.
I have a 2017 Roush RS3. This is the third Roush that I have had over time.
I have never bought them new as they are way too expensive, but after 2-3 years, they come down.
I like the looks, what you get from Roush, etc., is good stuff.
But the new 2021 RS3's are $80K+, Dam.
RS2 would get...
Yes,
That would make a difference. I am on the other side. My kids are grown and married.
Maybe once the kids are grown you can rejoin the bikes.
Who knows what we will have in 20 years. Flying bikes?
Good luck to you and enjoy those kids.
Yes,
I hear ya, but again, as I said above, I refuse and will not give up something and live in fear.
And as I said above, We all have a choice.
I choose to live my life and will not give up something I have enjoyed my whole life doing.
Only You can make that choice.
A person can die in a...
I refuse to live in Fear and will not live afraid to do something I so enjoy.
If we did that, none of us would do anything.
An accident can happen in a Car, Train, Airplane, walking down the street.
I will keep riding and if something happens, then it does. But I do all that I can to prevent...
Interesting topic.
I have been riding or racing motorcycles for over 40 years.
The first 21 years was Motocross mostly, Novice to Pro. Did some street riding then.
Was injured a few times, but always came back stronger.
Been on the Street only now for 20 Years.
Had 1 wreak, Knock wood...
In my Town, we now have 93 octane fuel, so I use that, but the Boostane is for if I am not able to find a good quality fuel of at least 91 when out of town.
Yes, there will always be faster cars. I like my car and I am quite happy with the performance. Faster than most anything on the road...
Well,
If a 2017 Roush RS3 at 727 hp is slow, then so be it. It is what it is.
This would just be one of 4 Gas vehicles that I have.
I have not made the switch to E85 as availability is an issue and reduces the miles you can go on a tank of fuel.
I do need at least 91 octane, but always have...
So several things come to mine with the Tesla vs Laguna Seca lap times.
So a 1,000+ hp Modified Tesla vs a Stock 700 hp Porsche 911 GT2 and it was just barely faster a round the track. Wow.
How about on lap 5? lap 10?
Plus, changing gears here. Pun intended.
When I go out for a drive, for...

I think it would be time for Roush to send one of their Field Techs down and to fix the problem.
Or for Roush to cover the tow bill to bring your car to them and have them fix it right.
You have suffered more than enough and time for Roush to really Step Up.
I do not care what an EV can do, will do, etc. I have no desire for this. Yes, I raced Slot Cars when I was younger and they were just that, Slot Cars.
Just like others have said, and any Real Gear Head understands, it's all that goes along with an ICE. Sights, Sounds, vibrations, Pops, Smells...
GT500, just refill with fuel, which is everywhere. Tesla, find a charging station and wait around while it's charging.
Sorry, but the Tesla is a Toaster, an appliance. No Soul. No connection. I don't care how fast the Toaster is.
Now don't burn my bread.
Just be glad that you still have the access to either one.
It's all good. Get what You want. Not what somebody else tells you to get. Put You first and go for it and be happy!
OP here.
So I just left the Brisk RR14YS, gapped at .028-.030 with the Roush Phase 2 tune and really, I can't really tell a whole lot of difference.
Granted, the VMP tune was just their 730 crank HP kit and Roush phase 2 is 727 crank HP.
Sure, VMP could clank it way up, but for me, not...
