I think mid 80's... That's not the 1st Roush I've seen run those numbers either... That's pretty on par for a stock Roush with no custom tune or heat remedies in the sick Florida humidity...
If it was only mid 80s, the driver needs to learn a trick or two to keep it cool.....assuming the 11.7 and poor trap speed was heat related. High humidity is not good, though. At least when 420 runs, he only has dry heat to worry about.

How hot was it when the Mustang ran 11.7? I have often wondered if the optional covers on each side of the SC trapped more heat. They look nice but I wouldn't want them.
I wouldn’t mind knowing the answer to that since I have the additional covers. But then again I’m getting a KC kit installed so that is gonna help a ton in my FL heat.

What do stock Mustang GTs with A10s run at Bradenton in 85 degree heat and high humidity?

I would be interested if the side vents from the new Max Cooling Kit could be purchased separate and put on my 2017.
Should help with the under the hood temps.
These cars trap a lot of heat under the Hoods.
Would they fit on the '17 Mustangs? I'm not sure they would.
I think it's 2018 and up.

It’s exclusive for the 2650 but I’m sure it could be modified for the 2300.

It's just a fender, and the template is provided.
Just said I wanted the Fender Vents. Only the Vents.
Already have the VMP Heat Exchanger.

Summer temps are a bitch if you want to run this car at the strip.. I still go just for science but not running the air when it's 110 degrees outside is killer!

I have seen some low trap speeds as Jason has mentioned.. When it's 100+ outside you can't cool the car much because ambient temps won't allow it! I'm just glad I don't have to deal with the humidity of Florida (or the bugs)... (or the 'Rona!) :p

Last October in 100 degree weather I was trapping 120 after a 20 minute drive and an hour cool down.. If the strip is open Saturday (possible rain) I will let y'all know how I do. :) Hoping for 11.4's at 124.

Here is a video by CJ Pony Parts about the Roush Max Cooling Upgrade for 2018-21’s.

I commented on the video and said I wished they provided some real world data... They responded and said they are working on it.. Honestly I can't imagine this will help 'ME' in the summer here in AZ... Possibly in the cooler months. If I wasn't contemplating a chiller killer I would probably take the plunge for science...

I have no doubt that cooling becomes nearly impossible at 100 degrees. Even naturally aspirated cars suffer in that heat.

In temps mid 80s or lower, I can typically get iat2 to about 40 over ambient at the starting line and I gain 15-18 degrees over a run. If ambient is 100, it would be pretty easy to cross the dreaded 160 degree mark before going through the traps. No thanks!

What’s funny is roush wants to increase air flow under the hood. Whipple tells you not to increase it to much because it fucks with the sensor and may reduce drivability.

Ahhhhhhh, I gotcha man. My bad.
For some reason, I thought you were referring to the corner pockets.

They probably would fit, in my opinion.
