researching this a bit, it appears there are aftermarket polyurethane replacements for the shock eye bushing at the bottom of the rear shock. has anyone tried this and does anyone know which one would fit the koni yellow?
initially i had rear shock mounts from manufacturer 'a' and as they were squeaking i removed them and replaced them with manufaturer 'b' shock mounts. these also squeaked. curiously they both made the exact same sound. i believe this is not a sound emanating from the mount itself, but is likely...
has anyone determined the ideal amount of lowering to improve handling? most of the discussion re: springs and handling centers on the rates, with minimal discussion of what the ideal amount of lowering would be-if such a thing could actually be ascertained

ive noted people stating the older gt350 had a different spring than the newer one, however, on any parts website they are the same: FR3Z-5310-k.

the interesting thing is you would think that there would be an optimal ratio between front spring rate and back spring rate but there isn't. the following are from the spring rate spreadsheet:

i plan on installing the GT350 front springs on my PP1 equipped springset 2015 GT. I expect to get a 0.3 inch drop and an increase in rate from 165 to 194. im leaving rears as is. Should i be concerned about an adverse change in vehicle dynamics if i do this, as im not installing the matching...

has anyone looked at the effect of carbon fiber wheels on brake temps? the aluminum wheel would act as a heat sink whereas the cf one probably would not
i suspect if the bar only had 2 holes one could have an intermediate setting with one side connected to the anterior hole an the other side connected to the posterior hole.
perhaps these are a happy medium between the squishy base mounts and the expensive/complicated/sometimes problematic spherical bearing mounts-a set of which i just chucked in the garbage due to noise
found this pic of the fr damper. you can barely read it, but the numbers printed on the mount end in s550 same as the ad 1123 part number. ie its the one with the black top.
in retrospect it puzzled me why the ford racing rear dampers came with mounts as these were already present on the car and are very easy to install. it may be they are a higher spec mount. if anyone could confirm which mounts come on those dampers that would be helpful.
