It is weird, I look all over the car and I don't see weight gained. This will be interesting when official numbers are released. I for one like a lot of others was hoping that the car would be lighter. I could understand if it had to gain wait for a stiffer chassis and for a better crash rating...

How come nobody is accounting for the new technologies in designing a chassis with stronger materials, the laser welding and the cold rolling? things that make stronger welds and thinner/lighter but still strong materials? A lot of this discussion has been had in the Chassis portion of this...

That would be a very fun build, not gonna lie. But my setup would be with the Boss302's roadrunner, a close ratio 6spd and of course the IRS out back. For the front I would have a Tubular K member and double A arm front suspension. Also I am a 4 eye or die kind of guy. 86 model year all the way...

Sure sounds like a 6'er to me. 6'ers can sound like a v8 at idle but once they spin up they show their true self.

DORA I assume is the factory just replying back that they have received the order. an OCS would be confirming the order has been placed and is now in their system in the lineup.
