It is possible he may be referencing the grunt. While the old pushrod 5.0L only made 200-225hp it also made a good 300+lb.ft of torque. That is just my guess.
Stick axles can handle well yes, but they are at a disadvantage when they run into bumps mid corner. A stick axle will become unsettled when encountering these bumps. This is something I have experienced first hand during spirited driving. On to the IRS, if it is a good setup, it will not become...
Sounds like the 4cyl may be quite light with the aluminum diff housing. I am also tired of waiting to hear specs on these engines... release the numbers already, this is annoying. With what the engineer said of the new 5.0L It leads me to believe we may see it in the 450hp range.
SMH, If you only knew the type of buyer I was.... The Z/28 sucks for $75k. My gripe is that the Z/28 costs so damn much, I dont see where the extra 40K has come from, all they added was CC brakes and sticky tires. They took more out of the car than they put in and they are charging you more. I...
I am waiting for a start stop system. Just by turning my car off at stop lights I have been able to save a lot of fuel. If this was about to be done reliably a lot of emissions would be eliminated and a lot of fuel saved.
I am still trying to decide. I really love having a manual transmission and my current car as an auto just kills me. The paddle shifters are something I will have to try out n see if it is as engaging.
This sounds correct. They have updated the head and made the ports flow better. So high end has been effected, with the bigger cams and better ports, the charge motion valves will help with increased velocity in the low end and increase bottom end torque.
I know right!? I have been looking for my 5th Mustang ever since and I think S550 will be it. I had the Boss302 in mind until I saw S550, I just don't have the money.
The Z28 is just stupid. $75k for what? A Camaro with a different badge, R compound tires, CC brakes and no standard equipment.... *SMFH* Boss all day everyday
