  1. Just did all bolt ons in one swoop... need some input/thoughts to get the car running right.

and yea fan comes on right away, sensor at the back? Not one of the ones in the intake valley?
  2. Just did all bolt ons in one swoop... need some input/thoughts to get the car running right.

thanks, and yea probably is in limp mode. A/f rario Sometimes wants to shoot up, so that makes sense if it wants to add a bunch of fuel. Only drops below 13/14 when it’s bogging at idle. Vacuum leak could be possible, I’ll have to try the smoke test if sensors don’t fix it. Very unlikely it’s...
  3. Just did all bolt ons in one swoop... need some input/thoughts to get the car running right.

Ok so mods I did were ARH headers, ported 2018 intake (lockouts are currently installed), and steeda open Proflow 114 mm. As of right now I only have AEDs base tune but can’t really datalog until I get these issues resolved. I’ll reach out to Shaun after I figure out the following issue. Now a...
  4. Corsa HH-pipes BACK IN STOCK here at Lethal Performance!

Hmm....will these work with any configuration of arh headers and their mufflers? Assuming they work with ARH headers since they sell a corsa connect. Question is, can it replace my current mid pipe 🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. ARH discontinued H-pipe header systems....what are my options? Any vendors have long systems left?

Hey guys, haven’t posted in a while. i currently have ARHs cat back and am trying to find a way to combine both so I don’t have to fork over $$$ for another full system or convert to xpipe. anyone else encountered anything similar, have solutions? What headers would mate with my current...
  6. The ALL NEW uCal tuning device available for pre-order here at Lethal Performance!

What diagnostics does this do? Crank relearn? Others?
  7. Ohlins' Adjustable Coil-Over Kits Are In Stock At J&M / hotpart.com

you also have to take into account tire size and compound when choosing your spring rates. If your using street tires and not r-comps or aggressive autocross tires, then 500 in/lbs will probably overload your tire prematurely. I could see your performance dropping instead of improving in that...
  8. Engine shake/vibration after clutch and trans install

I’m curious to see your results. I’ve been noticing a vibration lately, had the clutch and everything else replaced a few years ago (16ish thousand miles ago) engine wasn’t as smooth initially as it was before but it was only barely noticeable. Now it’s a little bit more noticeable. (Had a...
  9. Steeds Roll center correction...bearing’s vs bushing’s?

Thank you for the responses so far. Not worried about replacing the bushings or bearings in the future. my only concern is long term fatigue transferred to other suspension components (ie subframe etc...) from the increased rigidity/shock loads/ road vibrations transferred to those components...
  10. Brake Pads

Stock brembo pads are a variant of ferodo. I just recently replaced mine around 50k and I’m pretty hard on my brakes when daily driving. Car only saw a handful of autocrosses, and no track days. I decided to give the actual ferodo branded version of the OEM brakes as replacements, they don’t...
  11. Steeds Roll center correction...bearing’s vs bushing’s?

I’m looking to finally buy a set for my car as my control arms are currently inverted from me installing my ohlins setup. I’m inclined to go with the bearings over bushings. However I’m not necessarily willing to transfer the fatigue the bushings absorb to something less easily replaceable...
  12. J&M Camber Plates, how much negative camber were you able to get?

For some reason I was only able to get .5 out of one side and 1 out of the other, have not gotten around to contacting them about it yet.
  13. Adjusting/setting rear coilover

for oem length springs that is true but using a 6in spring in the back (a 7 inch spring would be perfect... maybe an 8 inch would work but it would be difficult to install without removing the subframe or spring compressors I think) with adjustable perch it can become loose enough to become...
  14. Adjusting/setting rear coilover

yes lol, glad we’re on the same page now, and thanks for the wheel droop info. I’ll have to go back and check it, I only applied a little preload when lining up the strut so it should have as much droop as my setup allows
  15. Adjusting/setting rear coilover

memes won’t change that you’re wrong in this, sorry. I have a divorced setup with an adjustable shock body length and it’s exactly how it works. Your shock is bottomed out (perhaps this is the wrong use of words, fully extended would be more appropriate or maybe “topped out” ‍) when its...
  16. Adjusting/setting rear coilover

you are right in many cases, however not 100% accurate in this one. when the shock has an adjustable shock body length, it is how you apply preload to the spring. Of course it also depends on the length of your spring, now obviously if you set your shock length to a position that gives preload...
  17. Adjusting/setting rear coilover

if you have an adjustable rear shock body then yes you are correct. Essentially the shock body is what determines the preload on a divorced setup. The ohlins have this adjustment in the rear.
  18. Ohlins Road and Track s550

How much of a drop did you do with your setup?
  19. Does anyone daily drive with a light weight kmember

Not to derail too much, but are you saying the aftermarket engine mounts will eventually damage the bell housing? If so are there ones that give more feedback without compromising bell house integrity?
