Question... any reason the second mounting hole wasn’t further down to accommodate the alignment pin like other brands? Or an extra small hole for the alignment pin? I’ve seen at least two other brand’s accomodate the pin. Bmr and Vorshlag
250 up front and 980 in the rear. It’s basically a touch stiffer than a GT350r. Unsure on the actual comfort level with the Ford racing Shocks. But I would think if you could test drive or get a ride in a gt350r it would feel about like that but would be obviously a little stiffer
I definitely intend to track it. Would like to a couple times a year but will mostly be for driving 8k a year plus a few autocross’ here and there. Mostly want the suspension for a really well planted feel while retaining good ride quality. I drive pretty spirited, but I also don’t want it to be...
I’m going ohlins as I’m trying to go with a stiffer set of springs while having the best ride quality I can have with them, without spending over 5k for some jrzs
pretty decided on 300/1000 for the spring rates. I can always swap out softer springs up front if I don’t like it. My other...
I have the Mach 600 w/lightened steel flywheel....engagement is pretty stockish. Feels pretty quick, I find that I don’t grind gears as much as the stock clutch. There is definitely noise associated with it. You can hear chatter at idle and some different metallic noises when engaging the...
So quick question.... I hate asking a company to compare their product to another’s but I’m purchasing suspension this week or next. So here goes....what do you see as some pros and cons with your product vs J&Ms mounts? Primarily in regards to the articulating design...I’m sure both products...
Thank you very much, I’ll have to give it a run into the dealer here soon, will do it before suspension and tires that way they can’t try and blame that. I’ve had a rear wheel hub replaced under warranty already
I’ve got some two piece rotors I’ve been waiting to put on for a while so I’ll...
Yea sorry but when searching the words were too short or common but good job being a smartass like I didn’t already try that, I have been a part of the forums a bit longer than you have and know how they function
But thank you for bringing up the thread I’ll look at it... my vibrations seem to...
Thanks for the feedback. Yea pretty sure it’s mostly in the steering wheel...maybe I can feel it elsewhere and vibration remains the same if push the clutch in, so definitely in the suspension or possibly but unlikely the driveshaft if it’s driveline related
And yea I’m basically trying to push...
Hello all, been a while since I made a thread. My car has about 50k on it and I’ve noticed a vibration at highway speeds. Now the first and obvious culprit is likely my tires which have near 30k on them (Bridgestone Re11s)
I’ll be replacing them soon but would like to brainstorm some other...
I had to replace my clutch at around 40k miles. I had no spring for most of those miles. Correlation isn’t causation but I do believe it didn’t help matters that’s for certain. I probably had about an inch of play at top without the spring. Since the new clutch I’ve had the Steeda theres...
Glad I’ve waited to do any real modifications to my car. I initially liked the things I read about livernois, and likely would have considered them for things other than a tune. But now I can be assured to not recommend them to anyone or use them.
