Nye 605 Oil

This is the same stuff Ford and Whipple use.
Didn't your parts kit for the whipple come with new oil?
Tony
I just bought a Gen 3 for my car. The new blower came with the head unit, new gaskets for the fittings, new bolts to secure it to lower manifold, blower to lower manifold gaskets and TB gasket. It also came with new supercharger oil.
Nothing else came with the kit. What this tells me is the...
The aluminum spacers, especially the ones for the rear subframe mounts, use a pry bar to open up space to fit them the bottom ones with the bolts. Lubing them helps a little, but the pry bar helped me slide them in.
On the front differential bushings, loosen the rear subframe mounts while...
I installed the enthusiast version of the kit with the differential inserts. I did not install the lower control spherical bushings as I'll do that when I swap my axles. Went with the street bushings on the diff. Zero NVH. Car hits the tires much harder now. Never realized how much those rubber...
Haven't seen him around here for almost a year. Does he still have Comp Orange 2015 with the whipple? I know he worked with the Whipple guys on the initial tune. I think he eventually got a 10.1 out of the car on the whipple tune.

What exactly are they supposed to give with the head units? I just removed mine and the new head unit came with new mounting hardware and o-rings. I wouldn't expect to send my used/old o-rings or bolts with the blower.

I couldn't feel much of a difference in lower rpms but that means nothing. Frankly, it only counts in the upper rpms anyway once you get out of 1st gear.
It definitely pulls hard above 4500. It reminds me of my cobra engine swapped mach 1 that was putting down around 650rwtq to the tire. It's...
I initially thought I'd be able to simply unbolt the Gen 2 head unit and swap it. Unfortunately, it appears due to many heat cycles, my front accessory plate had shifted enough to prevent the new head unit from seating square so all bolts would go in.
I ended up removing the serpentine belt...
If I was you, I'd dial the power down to figure out the 2-step/suspension/tire pressure. Once you get that dialed in, start incrementally upping the power.
When you get that right, you should be able to cut 1.4x making less power. That will be your sign to add more power.
Keep in mind, track...
When it comes to fuel pumps, either find a factory ground nearby or worst case, run a heavy gauge cable straight to the negative on the battery. Getting left stranded on the side of the road is never fun...

Way too extreme for me and I'm sure my neighbors would crucify me if my car was that loud. That's like wake up the dead loud or let every cop in a 10 mile radius know you're getting on it loud. :)
Those NA guys doing high 10s with 200 rwhp less don't weigh almost 4000lbs either...
Weight both unsprung and sprung plays a big role. Get that car down to 3200lbs race weight and it will run 9s.
