  1. Is Lund the way to go for tune??

Which CAI did you use. I went Roush with no problems.
  2. Roush axle-back - Changed Performance?!!

The gains are not exciting. According to the Corsa web site The axle backs give you +4 HP +1 Torque -4 pounds. The cat back extreme gives you +5 HP +4 Torque and -12 pounds about equal to two gallons of fuel.
  3. Adaptive Cruise Control / Forward Collsion Warning ?

I totally agree. Cross traffic alert isn't just another gimmick.
  4. Adaptive Cruise Control / Forward Collsion Warning ?

I agree the Blind Spot Detection leaves a lot to be desired. Should come with the wide angle mirrors and a led warning dot at least as large as a dime. Moving from one car to another I'm unaware of the little led at times.
  5. Adaptive Cruise Control / Forward Collsion Warning ?

You are right. When I order I loaded up with everything and forgot which package had what. But I do like the adaptive cruise control package and which I had it on our SUV.
  6. Exhaust realignment after 3k miles?

The clamps need to be re-torqued after a trip or two. I usually do this at least twice and the mufflers stay put.
  7. Adaptive Cruise Control / Forward Collsion Warning ?

I like both and will never buy another car that doesn't have this option. It saved my ass backing out of a parking spot next to a large van when an idiot came through the parking lot at a high speed.
  8. Octane for gt dd?

According to Ford the loss is 1% from 93 to 87 octane. My math equates that at 4.35 HP and less then that at the rear wheels. One of the auto magazines said you'll never know the difference. I know I didn't feel any difference or see any improvement in fuel mileage. I don't doubt with a tune you...
  9. FFRP Touring Exhaust

After installing the FRPP Touring exhaust I'm finally happy with my exhaust system. Just enough louder then stock but not obnoxious like the Roush. Also no resonance in 1500-2000 RPM range like the Roush had. Really nice deep sound and fairly aggressive under heavy acceleration. This is the...
  10. Octane for gt dd?

I've been running 93 the last three tank. I see no difference in fuel mileage or seat of the pants. According to Ford engineering the difference between 93 Vs. 87 is a loss of about 1%. Not worth the extra cost to me. Maybe if I went to a tune I would feel differently but after screwing with...

  14. 5.0 Exhaust Rattle

Did you guys hear the rattle soon after you took delivery on your cars or did it show up later? Mine is a almost a year old with no rattle.
  15. Roush Axle Back Removed

Roush Axle Back Removed, After 100 miles I'm going to remove and replace the Roush Axle Back mufflers. It is my opinion they are too obnoxious to both me and my neighbors. The Roush do a have a nice deep sound and no drone but the sound is just not manageable on even light acceleration. I can't...
