I used a scanner. You are right the on board test is a cool thing to know.
I'm thinking this PO62B is a fluky think but would like top read the TSB myself. I did erase the code to seeif it comes back. I will probably have to join the ford servcie for 72 hours to find out. Sounds like it may be a...
There is an easy way around the buy in Florida only law and you save considerably. Just buy it using an out of state address, the warranty is good all over the country. You will save several hundred.
Anyone know exactly what the the NHTSA 10057810/TSB 44847 says about correcting the PO62B code?
I have the code but no check engine light or any other problems. I read this is coming up on both the 2015 5.0 Mustang and the 2015 F150 truck.
Don't care to take it back to the dealer to mess with...
Does anybody really know the differences between the FR-S and Borla-S axle back exhaust?
Pros & Cons of each?
I think the FR Sport is about as loud as I wish to go and I do want the straight through design. Thought the Roush would work but I'm told they are much louder then the Ford Racing sports.
According to Roush it isn't a problem but like I said it can wet the corner of the filter. I doubt it would be a serious problem. I believe the only time you will get any volume of water is when it is setting.
On the other side of the coin you get rid of the ridiculous sound pipe cluttering...
Installed the Roush CAI last week and feel it was the best bang for the buck. May do a tune some day but not interested at this time so I like the idea of being able to go from 85mm to 105mm if I ever do decide to tune. Had tunes on my Corvettes and they can be come a PITA at times.
I did pour...
On the Roush there is no seal between the filter and the hood vent. a portion of any water coming in the hood vent will end up in the front of the air box and catch small area of the filter. There is a small drain hole in the bottom of the air box. If you take a flashlight and look straight down...
What about water intrusion to the filter? It looks like it could be a problem especially when stopped and a Florida afternoon thunderstorm.
Anyone have a problem with JLT's or Roush?
Do like the Roush because it has the best of both worlds with your choice of 85MM or 105MM intake tube options...
I say you might be seeing it but you are not getting it! Calculate by hand a few tank fulls. My Mustang GT overstates an average of 1.1 MPG per tank full. My 2015 Ford Escape overstates 2.2MPG per tank full. The MKZ overstates 1.7 MPG per tank full. These are all average's over several thousand...
What is the best way to remove the nut holding the Induction Resonance Tube to the firewall?
There is no way I can get it with a wrench from the top. Haven't jacked up the car to look from underneath.
I want to thank all you guys for posting your pictures. Changed my whole outlook about my new Mustang, Ive decided mine is about as perfect as you can get and I do love to drive it with all its bells and whistles. Also the fact remains that everyone that see my car do the oohs and aahs and never...
Normally the panels are not hard to replace. I always print out the instructions and take my time doing it. Better than having a Ford mechanic do it that is on the clock.
