It is not likely you can polish it out. Always worth a try with a good plastic polish and I have has some good luck with Semi-Chrome polish.
Best bet is order a new lens cover for about $60.00
Rear Glass not level or centered.
My rear glass has the low upper corner on the drivers side but its also not centered in the opening. Right side is .080 between glass and body and left side is .220 making it over 1/16" or .070 off center. Resetting or replacing the glass is a poor option since...
Do you Guys have a box to check for Collision Avoidance? According to the manual you can turn it on and off. All I see is Collision Avoidance > Extreme, Normal and Low. Like the Cruise controlwithout a check box.
I do believe mine has quit working. But there anr no warnings and the Red LED's...
I tweaked the right trunk lid hinge and that looks good now. I pulled the left taillight and adjusted the fascia as much as possible, It's better but not perfect. I'll go with it because from what I've seen at the dealer I could be worse off if I let them screw with it.
I'll get use to it...
Nobody else has picked up on it. The angle your looking at it when you do a walk around you don't see the gap. That is the reason I didn't notice it for a month. I was waxing the car when I finally discovered the poor fit and this is probably why it got by QC at the factory.
After studying in more closely I have determined in order to repair it, it would require a new fascia. It appears the some idiot while de flashing with a belt sander has hit the outer edge of the panel where it meets the fender. Not sure I want to put myself through a mess like that where there...
How many of you guys have a lousy fit where the rear fascia meets the quarter panels. Mine is nice and tight at the horizontal area but gaped on the vertical. You can lift up on the bottom of the fascia and close the gap some but not enough. I doubt this is an easy repair.
I have a faint harmonic type buzz that sounds like it coming from somewhere on the left interior side of the car. Cuts in and out with engine speed and bumps.
Any ideas?
Droid Junky, I guess I agree with you about the floor mats and they do complement the car. Since they were listed as part of the 50th package as unique I was expecting too much. I have forgotten what the original Mustang interior looked like although my mother owned a 64 1/2 convertible with a...
What do your 50th floor mats look like? I thought they were suppose to be unique but to me they just look cheap. Also no rear mats with my 50th package.

Mine is going to Greenway Ford in Orlando just 20 miles from Taft. My dealer said he was trying to get it pushed through yesterday but obviously he doesn't have the clout he thought he had.
