So my family has a bunch of these things. Model 3 performance, model 3, model s 90. My car shits on all of them but the 3 performance from a dig-100.
the 3 performance is fast as shit up to 100. Probably does 0-100 in 6 seconds. Then it falls on its face hard. From a 60 roll I shit on that...
Probably fine. I drove my charger to work 15 miles after the water pump blew and it was completely fine. Still ticking 20k miles later and just hit 150k
Bbq tick has been a thing on fords since the 3v. It’s been making shops a lot of money fixing things that don’t need to be fixed since 04.
it’s a pet peeve of mine When people expect American V8s to sound like a luxury car engine. Ever heard a hemi? Loud as hell. Same with the GM LS and LT...
The composite pan seems like a good idea on this type of vehicle imo. Steel pans warp, cast aluminum pans get stress cracks and have porosity issues. Composite has none of those issues. Now on the trucks where it’s likely to get hit I think it’s the dumbest idea ever.
Correct. I didn’t want to copy your guys’ guide completely especially since I put this out on the forums publicly. That’s why I put right in there that you’ll still need the PCMTec guide. This guide really only contains my revisions to your steps in the RHD guide re: the fuel line, routing the...
Ok gentlemen. I have the fix for this 100%. Switch on launch control after doing the tire size procedure above.
I can shift as fast as i want now, no rev hang.
Interested to see what suggestions people have for hood pins. Maybe the gt500 style by quick latch

my hood flutters a ton above 140mph so the pins probably do help
heading to the strip this weekend for the first time.
Making about 400 lb/ft at the wheels at 4000rpm. Not sure on peak figure because the dyno broke during the pull and stopped recording in the middle and then cut out at 6500rpm. Mods in sig. mT82 d4 and 3.73 car.
what do you guys think I...
After a hard drive the car cools down during the drive through my neighborhood. It seems to heat up more when idling so I shut it down as soon as it is parked.
Never heard of them. I can tell you to avoid Citizens United Reciprocal Exchange (CURE), farm bureau and auto owners like the plague.
As someone who actually does this for work, that’s exactly what the insurance companies would like you to believe. I worked for insurance companies until I got...
lol. That’s kinda comical but a pain to have to go back up there. The dealer sets my tires at 45 psi. They must not adjust the chuck after inflating truck tires. Last time I made a big show of taking out my tire gauge and bringing them back to 31psi before I pulled out of the bay. I don’t think...
Also if you don’t want to swap your reservoir for an auto one, i got an EPDM cap from some oem supplier that went over the clutch nipple. It is brake fluid resistant and meant to do such a thing in oem applications. I had to special order it but didn’t want to drain all my brake fluid and track...
If I remember correctly it just sits on top and is held in place by the “arms” that go down the side to the master cylinder. They need to be pried outward.
I might be, that’s why I started the thread. I’ve never run a blower or really looked into it on these cars. If anyone has run a whipple on a road course car I’d be very interested to hear how it is and if they needed other cooling mods.
