I am reading alot of a few different setups but nothing definitive.
Most are talking about StopTech, BAER, powerstop, or Brakemotive rotors. Seems that the brakemotive are the cheapest but cheap and good usually don't go together. I had stoptech on my viper with good results
So, What's...
I am starting this thread to list out as many track technics or race craft technics for all track oriented enthusiast. I will list a few but want others to add in what they deem as fun or critical technics to develop our race crafts. I know there are lots of noobs and lots of heavily experienced...
I got a quote on some tires/wheels and they came with TPMS sensors.
Are these needed for the track? I would rather not pay the extra $200 for them.
I use a digital gauge when at the track for proper pressure.
Also, how good are Nitto NT05s? How do they compare to Toyo R888Rs?
How do they...
My last track day the dipstick showed my oil levels going down so I have to assume it was because of the G forces. So, before my next track days I will be adding a square wheel setup with 285s for even more grip with a set of R888r tires. I think its time to do a catch can.
A couple questions...
Given that the front PP2 wheels are 19x10.5 and can run 305/35s I really want this instead of the 285s that I had originally decided. So, are the PP2 wheels used without spaces?
If so, are there any wheels out there that can run 305s without spaces?
Any of you guys out at Barbers this past Sunday? There were many stangs out there but didn't get to chat much.
This was my second time out with the car and I am slowly getting a feel for it. I am really impressed how it puts the power down. The only issue I had was with lateral traction because...
I am wanting to lower my GTPP to increase track stability and reduce wheel gap(especially when I go with 35 series tires).
So, I need suggestions/feedback for what you all have used.
Anyone here have experience with Roux helmets? i am in the process of finding a new helmet and these are high on my list.

2018 GT PP1 4500 miles. So... New car, new track and new DE organization.
The only things that i have done to the car is a brake flush, MMS camber plates and an alignment. The alignment shop could only get -1.9 camber up front and -1.5 in the rear.
If any of you have been to Barbers you will...
I wanted to give a review for this tool. Let me start off by saying that I have never bled the brakes on a car before so this was a first. I have done bikes in the past so i guess the concept is the same. Regardless, I watched a couple videos and read the instruction and jumped right in. The...
I had camber plates installed and an alignment done(second time). I wanted -2.2 camber in the front and 1.5 camber in the rear. He wasn't able to get the front dialed in as you can see from the pic. I included pics of the top side plates(first is the left and second is the right) to see where...
I picked up a second screw in my left rear tire(different tire). It was about an inch deep at a 45 degree angle on the outer side of tread. I was able to wiggly it back and forth and didn't feel it rubbing any chords. I was able to back the screw out and it doesn't seem to be loosing air...
I know i read this here but the search function does not cooperate with me.
I vaguely remember our GTPP pad thickness new at 16mm including the plate and the acceptable range at like 12 or 13.
Would you guys happen to know what the acceptable pad thickness for DE days is? Isn't is like half the...
i have found some setting on the boards that line up with what I'm thinking but want to get your feedback before I get the alignment done. I have maximum motorsports camber plates. Also still using the stock wheels and tires.
I'm not a complete beginner to DE days but not crazy fast either. I...
I put in my first order for track goodies, so exciting!!
