- Adjust tune for added boost to 15lbs
- Verify If my new Smooth Boost Controller worked on a Whipple Mustang GT. I will do seperate post to discuss more indepth. The dyno guy said I should sell those...
I just checked my oil catch can (atmosphere vented only) and discovered about 4oz of what looks like a clear oil. FYI. I run ceratec oil additive which makes my Motul oil brownish.i put some in a clear glass with RO water, looks like clear water odd but I did start my car over the winter with...
Just completed modifying Steeda 2019 Mustang Tower brace to clear my Whipple 3.0.
Note: I added 2-3/8" high X 1" thick spacers and welded the ends of the round tube to Steeda base mounting plate.
I have to say I am impressed with FI Interchiller 10mm thermal heat spacers on my 3.0 whipple with FI Interchiler stage 2, with 20° to 25° SC coolant temp.
I just recieved my Steeda Strut Tower Brace and it is about 2-1/4" off. So Now I am going to mod to get it to fit. Its a shame no one who makes these strut tower braces make them for owners with Whipple's. PS. I also have FI Interchiller 10MM thermal heat spacers between my whipple plenum and heads.
First start up after mods, and Wengerd tune for E85-16lbs boost and IW 10% OD Damper, 3.500 griptec Pulley, Borla 3" "S" Type full exhaust with Carbon fiber 4"Tips, and LTH "Catless" header connection pipe, Vibrant aft oxygen sensor, 90° adjustable Defoulers, Steeda Driveshaft Safety Loop...
2300 miles Front Firwsone Firehawk 285/35/19 with an average of 7-8 32 left. My rear are 325/30/19 Toyo Proxy R888R. I am buying new Hoosier Track Attack Pro tires and so I will not need my old ones.
NOTE: ONLY TO MEMBERS WHO NEED TIRES AND WILL NOT RESALE!!!
This will be minus my Borla Seitchfire which I will sell when i have the chance.
I will be installing the Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System S-Type Part # 140742CF this week. I also will install LTH header exit OFF Road Pipe to connect to the Borla When off Road.
I plan to gap my plugs at .024 but was wondering what others with Whipple's 3.0 for spark plug gap at or around 16lbs?
I run Brisk RR12S RAcing plugs. I did have my plugs gaped at .028 as per Whipple but that was with 11lbs boost.
I appreciate your opinions.
If you replace your A/C stretch belt no matter what year, Make sure to measure your A/C Stretch Belt "IF" you buy other than Ford Motorcraft. I didn't notice until I installed the Autozone Continental 4060344S belt before I noticed it was way to tight. I measured both the Conti belt and Ford...
I am installing the IW 8 groove damper on my 2019 Mustang GT 6 rib belt. Has anyone done this? If so does the 6 rib belt go all the way back leaving 2 unused grooves in front of the belt or does it sit in the middle of the 8 groove damper leaving 1 empty groove on the front and back?.
This thread can be deleted. Motion RaceWorks is making me a Oil Separator/Catch can set up for 800HP+ engines.
Anyone make or buy a KIT?
I am getting away from venting my crankcase into my blower so I am going to make/buy a crankcase vacuum /ventilation system to keep the crankcase at a...
I just received my oil analysis since my engine went Whipple. Amount of E85 found in oil was very very low. All wear was very minimal and matched my previous N/A Analysis I had done at around 900miles.
Just wanted to get members opinions on the ESS kits. Has anyone running the ESS at high boost like 16lbs or higher without having any issues?
My Whipple with only 600 miles and 14lbs boost seals are leaking
