Saddle, to me, goes with basically any exterior color... as long as it's leather, it can match. I wouldn't necessarily want it myself, but there's no reason it shouldn't be made available by order(and advertised as such).
Truly, I just think it's silly for any automaker to "delete" any...
My point is, there's positively no shot on this planet, that GM will allow the Camaro to compete with Corvette. Aside from that, the C6 was lighter than the 7, right? So this doesn't make me think the Camaro will be some super lightweight machine. I do expect it to weigh less than today, but...
Fusion Titanium has a 10way heated driver seat and a 4way heated passenger(front). The base model comes with almost nothing, including any version of turbocharged engine.
SE equipment is popular options. We know those weights are off, of course.
BMW says the M4 weighs 3530 w/ standard...
Are you that impressed with the new LT1? Do you really expect GM to use it in exact Corvette form for the Camaro SS?
The Mustang may be less powerful by 20-30 and also make less torque and still beat the Camaro, depending on the chassis and ultimately, handling. The 15, according to Ford...
I get slightly disappointed, but not much. We've been given reason to expect the 15 to weigh more since we learned it would have IRS. For this class and price, almost nothing will compete.
Don't be mad at the industry any more than our government, which forces most increases.
I suspect the LT1...
I, for one, doubt you had ANY plan to buy a Mustang in the 1st place. After all, you're talking up the BMW having lost weight... ya know what it gained? COST! The M3 starts at over $62,000...
Let's not compare a 62k starting price anything to a 33k starting price anything. That's apples to...
 I know I've been saying expect about 100 lb either way... it was the "wrong" way, but it's certainly tolerable if it handles as expected and with those big brakes, this thing is likely to perform better than the Camaro SS 1LE outta the gate and may very well make the GT500 look kinda wrong...
Heh... I think I guessed 435/420... It's going to be a SWEET surprise if they go beyond there, even though they could.
If they do, I can't see it a pony over 450 no matter and if that wild 467 number happened, I'm rearranging funds somewhere... just had a major purchase and might not be able...
I read somewhere else recently, there's a big comparison between the 15 Mustang and the Falcon... Ford folks say the Mustang is clean sheet and doesn't even borrow any part from the IRS of that car... what's the connection?
DING!
That's where I was gonna go... If the things we've been hearing, like aluminum rear for the smaller engines and iron for the heavyweight, plus the larger brakes and wheels, it all makes sense.
That said, would wheels and brakes be that different? I didn't pay attention to any "base"...
Me neither... 30 is a big change. Of course, if it was that much for the Corvette, so it was... the engines are so different, there may have been a need for things on the GM engine already employed in the Coyote. I was thinking, all the engine changes combined, if it gets DI... still in the 10...
6HP26 and 26A, I think. Whatever works and it works.
The only serious difference I would think about with a DI upgrade is the pump... to get that much pressure, the standard stuff we're used to won't do. The remainder of the system is probably about the same weight as everything on...
I agree. I've driven a few and they shift just fine and much more smoothly and quickly than any novice or even average person can do with a manual. My Escape is probably just a bit better than that and the Mustang is notably better still.
It's not easy to shift manually, quicker than an...
With the AWD models, the weight is 3681 and the MKZ is 3713... according to Ford. There's a litany of big differences between those and Mustang. I expect the Mustang to be lighter in many areas, but as a sum total, maybe, maybe not. Perhaps it required more of a heavy steel to meet crash...

Section "B" says otherwise... but that's only Michigan law, so... maybe you just wrote a new one and the state is unaware...
Guys/gals... PLEASE look up the law...
To be honest, I hadn't even considered the current transmission. I simply, and probably mistakenly took for granted, Ford was replacing the 6spd auto with a newer version like they use in other small vehicles and that's because of paddle shifters. Also, I completely agree that Ford has...
 Most of us don't like to be reminded... :brokenheart:  :D
Hmmm... In a Mustang? Probably not. Besides, you need a license endorsement to be a school bus driver.
PS :threadjacked:
Sorry... looked at what I wrote and it came off kinda snarky, if I can call it that. Was meant to be kinda funny.
I actually looked up the WI law on their state website. I've driven many miles in that state, though I never lived there and was curious if somehow I'd broken their law and...
Ford says the SelectShift 6spd is a dual clutch semi-automatic... Idonno, but since they're employing rpm matched downshifting on the automatic, I'd say that's a fair assessment.
GM also filed for a patent on a 7spd dual clutch automatic (apparently for the Corvette) and if you look at their...
Not according to this... http://www.tirechainsrus.com/tire-chains-laws.html ... which states 48 of 51(including D.C.) do allow the use of chains or studs or both, including WI, or have no law regarding snow equipment, such as FL or Hawaii.
As for why they'd offer a vehicle you can drive year...
