2015 right rear brake noise?? HELP!!!!!!!!!

This the third set of pads I have put in. When each new set of calipers were installed, it didn't do it as much until the brakes were track day hot or bedding in the DTC30's. Once that happened it goes crazy.

He is looking at the axle and diff bushings now.

Hello Tommy, the brake bleeder works great I bought from you. No ABS light and it doesn't change when fuse and dyno plug pulled. I'll have him check the other stuff I'm open to anything.

But you can get the pedal to vibrate under hard braking on the street (panic stop)? Brake pads usually squeal, not the sound you recorded. The sliding rear calipers typically make most of the noise with any performance compound and swerving usually flexes everything enough to push the pads away from the rotor. Or lightly applying the parking brake while driving will stop pad/rotor noise.

Towards the end of the video you can hear when I tapped the brakes it goes away for a second.

Yes, you can feel the ABS when hard braking on the street. OEM pads were first, Stoptec ceramic second and Hawk last all made the same noise.

Doesn't sound like any brake problem I've ever encountered. Bearing maybe? Does the buzz change frequency when you change speed?

Hello Jim, I have replaced the bearing, knuckle, removed the ebrake line, 3 different calipers and three different sets of pads. The noise is constant but harder to hear speeds due to road and exhaust noise but defiantly there. The only time it doesn't happen is in reverse. ABS controller is also new, thanks Randy.

The noise has been pointed to the calipers/pads. For some reason the pads start to vibrate when not engaged only on the right side and it seems only on this 2015 Mustang. The frequence does not change depending on RPM or speed. He had another mechanic walk next to the car in 1st gear and you could see the pads vibrate.

For a test he gave me a couple of F250 brake pad spacer springs. I will drill a small hole on each pad and install these to hold the pads tight in the pad holders. The though is this is why it goes away if you lightly tap the brakes (comes back right after) and engage the ebrake.

Not sure what I do after that maybe install a aftermarket rear brake kit that holds the pads differently.

If anyone has another idea, I'm open to look because right now I have a 3500-pound paper weight.

2 things I would try. If the brake pads don't have a nice bevel on the leading and trailing edge, Bevel them to a 45° angle. That can help cut down the vibration. A grinder works good for this. The other thing I would try if it hasn't been done is caliper grease on the backing plate of the pad where the caliper contacts it. This can help dampen the vibration.

Also pull apart the bolts and boots, one caliper bolt on each side has a rubber bushing on the end. Make sure all of these parts are clean and well lubed so the caliper slides on them freely. Make sure you do not have rust on the caliper bracket where the pad shims locate the pads. You should be able to slide the entire assembled caliper in and out.

I wonder if you need (or are missing) a vibration damper pad (or clip) between the brake pad and the caliper. You might also try silicone brake grease or anti-seize compound between the pad and the caliper. Might help, might not. If neither of these help the problem isn't the pad vibrating. Might eliminate one possibility.
