Hi everyone,
First-time poster here. I’ve recently noticed a metal-on-metal clunking noise from the front brakes of my 2017 GT, especially when the car is cold. Occasionally, I also hear a squeaking or squealing noise.
At first, I suspected the front brake pads might be worn, but they seem to be in good shape. While inspecting them, I found some odd chunks of dust or debris lodged between the brake pad and caliper body. Could this be preventing the pads from fully releasing?
Also, I recently replaced the rear brake pads with Brembo ones, so it's possible the squealing noise is coming from the rear instead.
Any thoughts or similar experiences would be appreciated!
