Hello Jim, I haven't had the chance to get it back up in the air since I picked it up. The noise is slowly coming back and only low speeds, but history has shown that it will do it more and more the next few times I drive it. I'll give an update after I try a few things and looking at all...
Right now, it isn't doing it but it's only a matter of time, I trailered it home and haven't driven it yet. Just a little drifting down my driveway when I took it off the trailer.
Here are the brakes I'm going to install when it starts again. The thought is that the pads are held in...
Hello everyone, the OEM pads have a chamfer, and the second set also have a chamfer the Hawk pads did not, but they were added. Pad brackets or clips are installed. I'll try but the vibration is so crazy I do not think grease will dampen it. Thanks Randy
The noise has been pointed to the calipers/pads. For some reason the pads start to vibrate when not engaged only on the right side and it seems only on this 2015 Mustang. The frequence does not change depending on RPM or speed. He had another mechanic walk next to the car in 1st gear and you...
Hello Jim, I have replaced the bearing, knuckle, removed the ebrake line, 3 different calipers and three different sets of pads. The noise is constant but harder to hear speeds due to road and exhaust noise but defiantly there. The only time it doesn't happen is in reverse. ABS controller is...
This the third set of pads I have put in. When each new set of calipers were installed, it didn't do it as much until the brakes were track day hot or bedding in the DTC30's. Once that happened it goes crazy.
He is looking at the axle and diff bushings now.
Hello Tommy, the brake bleeder works great I bought from you. No ABS light and it doesn't change when fuse and dyno plug pulled. I'll have him check the other stuff I'm open to anything.
Yes, I can make it stop by pressing the brake pedal, but it comes back instantly. I can also make it stop by slightly engaging the e-brake but of course I cannot drive that way. I also disconnected the e-brake cable from that side, and it changed noting.
Pads show no marks, and I have Bowen Built installing the ABS controller, he bled it and reprogramed it.
Yesterday he removed all the panels that cover the brake lines to see if the car was in an accident that maybe kinked a tube but found nothing.
