It's a fun video for light entertainment, but not a real track comparison between the two cars.
From everything I've seen, the 'vette is faster. Several reviewers have said the GTD is more fun to drive. I personally wouldn't pick something with an automatic transmission, but these cars are both seriously fast.
I'm glad cars like this are still being built. I would like to see leaner, less expensive vehicles from Ford and Chevy with reasonable HP and smaller tires for regular humans to buy and have fun with. The whole exotic thing is enjoyable to observe, but I'm not going to buy one. Generally they end up as garage queens for someone to brag about. I'd like to see more everyday fun cars built that will be thrashed to within an inch of their lives.
