Very nice Peter. I’ve been looking at the same size and style and have been a bit hesitant re road noise and ride compromise. Be interested in how you find the change from 40 series to 30? Lots of experience on this forum.
cheers

Thank you :like:

Mine will hopefully be taxed again at the end of this month, so that will be the time to swap them over with the PP1 wheels and get a direct comparison.

There is another owner near me with a mag ride / GT / PP1 and he switched it to 20’s last year - he had the same concerns as you, but said they were unfounded, and put it down to the mag ride.

What’s encouraging, is that he lives only a few miles from me so we share the same crappy roads / council maintenance etc - I’m hoping our experiences will be similar.

I will report back, and include photos :like:

Thanks mate appreciated. In Australia the 20 inch mag combo with Michelin PS4S 285 on front and 305 on rear is $5400 AUD so not pocket change..

On my S197...20x9.5(F)with 275/35 and 20x11(R) with 315/35. Been on this setup for 6 years. Works well for the street. My car gets driven! Never been on a trailer except the day I bought it.
