TVS 2650 supercharger from Magnuson

So I recently been extremely obsessed with boosting my Mustang I have a 2020 A10 Mustang I have billet crank sprocket grip surface and oil pump gears with billet back plate I have decided that I want a roots style blower with eatons TVS 2650 internals and I see Magnuson has a supercharger head unit that’ll bolt on a coyote but it’s a “hot rod” the good thing about it is I can buy each part of the kit separately but I want to know if there’s more that I need to make this work on my 3rd gen

Just buy the Roush kit that comes with all the Mustang stuff.

Im looking into doing the same to my gen 3 I could be wrong but I think magnuson only offers supercharger kits for gen 4 and f150s at the moment thats why im saving for and edlebrock e force kit, just make sure to read everything carefully or call and speak to someone at mangnuson before buying it, best of luck

ima call Magnuson today and see what they can do for me this path is easier for me to buy things in stages than just dropping 10k on a whole kit and I always wanted a VMP Odin but alas VMP and magnuson split before I was ready for boost

VMP used to sell the entire kit. I think they moved to Whipple-style kits. That said, you should be able to see all the parts that were offered with their kit since it is still on their site.

Oh, I thought they had a kit for the gen 3 S550 cars.

I would check to be sure that those "Coyote" parts will work with a Mustang and aren't just a generic "Coyote swap" kit.

Get the Edelbrock, it's the TVS2650 in a Mustang-specific package.

Also don't forget that the GT500 supercharger can be put on a gen 3 car....it's also a TVS 2650

I like the Odin/magnuson and it’s better than Roush 2650 in a couple of ways, but the intercooler is smaller than edelbrock and Whipple which is a shortcoming. If I was hell bent on the 2650, and I get why, I’d probably go edelbrock. However, edelbrock spins the snot out of the stage 2 and I don’t really care for their pulley setup or tune (or price). Gt500 seems like a solid choice but you need spacers to clear the gdi stuff and you’ll be piecing it together in a slow and aggravating process. Hard to beat Whipple here…

Found out today that VMP still sells parts that would’ve came in the Odin kit so I just might mash a list together sourcing parts for the Magnuson as if it was a Odin same exact head unit

Only thing I haven’t been able to find is a throttle body I would hate to use the stock coyote throttle body for this

Man, save your $ and get a Whipple kit. It's the best supercharger kit for this platform. Buy once, cry once as they say. Usually great deals during Black Friday.

ESS is another option.

They don’t make Odin kits anymore and I want to get a TVS 2650 style supercharger not very common on mustang builds
