Anyone have this AC line fail multiple times??

Well I don’t think the dealer will put in an aftermarket part. I’ve already paid for the fix so long as the new part falls they pay to fix it. But by now you think Ford would update this part. It seems to be a common failure, multiple times on people.

Same here. I have warranty and they can keep fixing it. My dealership did mention going to an after market part but would not warranty the work.

That is in the same general area my hose was cracked in. Mine was in that area except on the underside when the hose was installed. The tech said it took him a little while to find it even with die because of where it was as well as that is not the typical area where an AC hose fails, but apparently it is with these hoses.

Well they did a test and showed that the compressor had an issue with excessive back pressure and its failed. So I'll do the compressor, the condenser and the TX valve. Plus the other hose that failed. All of this has a two year warranty on it. Given that I put new tires on it, the stripes and its paid for...I'll fix it rather than get pissed off and get a new car. It's the risk I took when I bought it knowing that the AC systems in these cars is a shit design.

Had the high pressure hose crack on mine couple years ago. Found the leak with a UV light. Was at compressor mount not in bend.

Which dealership are you taking the car to? Are they good? I'm in the DMV and my AC failed last summer but I'm terrified of letting dealer techs work on it.
