Gaslighting. Seriously.
It’s an accurate description of your creating something for you to burn down. Nothing to do with what I said.
Really. This is what you said...
The GT mark 4 isn’t a street legal car. Even the AMG ONE is street legal.
But again, we should have all known that you were talking about vehicles in other than the United States. Like the streets in Deutschland.

For fucks sake. Quit while you still can.

I was talking about street legal cars versus race only cars.

AND??? What I said was accurate. The AMG One is a street legal production car, just like the Porsche GT3 RS and the Mustang GTd. Very unlike the Mark 4 race car. It doesn't matter where they are street legal. They are STREET LEGAL. You have no point. Even the Euro MUSTANG is not street legal in the USA.

Duh. Of course a European car is not street legal in the USA. But --- wait for it --- it's still STREET LEGAL, meaning it has other conform to different, far more restrictive regulations than a RACE CAR does.

Answer this one question: Where is the GT Mark 4 street legal? I'll wait.

Until then, stop embarrassing yourself. You're literally undoing years of somewhat decent posts in one day. Also, stop cussing. It's dirtying up the forum.

On a forward looking note, hopefully the new GTD has 1000 HP, so the Dark Horse SC can get 900. That would solve a lot of reservations regarding both machines.

Enough with your ad hominem attacks. Stick to the subject matter or try to refrain from posting. And for the love of God, you aren't a martyr and never will be.

Be a man, and admit that you were wrong. If you can't manage that then I suggest you stop for a moment and reflect on why you continue to err in your logic.

Is this the same Dark Horse SC that you said would be 90k despite plenty of evidence to the contrary? While this back and forth is somewhat entertaining, when it comes to member credibility, its not even comparable.

I was the only one sticking to the subject matter. You're the one who attacked with your nasty curse words followed by threats/ultimatums. .

Also, stop projecting your own motives onto others. with that "martyr" stuff. That is another bullying tactic. Knock if off. If you cannot handle posts breaking down on-topic facts, then perhaps don't respond.

You should take your own advice. I'll leave it at that. It's a really disingenuous tactic to take a very pertinent discussion about these cars and the categories they are in. and try to devolve the thread by turning it into some personal mud fight. Please stop.

Again, I'll ask the question since it never received an answer: Where is the Ford GT Mark 4 street legal? Still waiting.

If we followed your line of thinking and pretended categories don't exist - even though Ford admits they do (hence the entire reason the GTD exists), then we would just look at which car is fastest around the ring and in that case, the GT MK4 is lagging way behind and the GTD is hopelessly far behind that.

Thankfully that is not the case and we have a GTD which does very well in the street legal production car category, the ZR1 which does a little better, the AMG One, which is the fastest so far, and then we have the GT MK4 which is the fastest overall ICE car, even if it's race only, and then we have the EVs that are even faster than that.

Boom. End of. No need to get hostile. please stay on topic and take the personal animosity elsewhere.

Incorrect. I said SHOULD be. If you were at all interested in the facts, then you'd realize I based that "should" on it being mostly old tech that has been touched up for a new era. But I also previously stated that if they did something special, like came out with 900 HP, it would go a long way and no one would mind the price.

the 2013 gt500 wasn’t much different from its predecessor save for 3 upgrades: Bilstein SHOCKS, a carbon fiber driveshaft, and a 22+% power increase. That last part was the big deal. And people loved it.

If the DHSC IS 760-810 HP, we may have an issue, since the GT500 almost always made a massive leap in performance - and I’m not just talking about road holding. If the DHSC makes a similar leap in engine capability, we are looking at over 900 HP. so of the GTD makrs a hige power increase, then we may be seeing something like that. And IF that’s the case, much of the criticism of the sc goes away. It’s a big if. But we can hope.

And I stand by that. Perhaps Ford is upgrading the GTD to the point where the SC can do that without stepping on toes. Would be nice.

And how long was it for the initial, and second GTD time, between the unofficial times posted and the official?
According to the videos in 2024, they ran the car in July, but didn't say anything until December. But they did a full blow press release, documentary video, etc.

When they went faster in september (6:52), the video didn't come out until may

The Ford GT Mk IV announcement came out almost instantly.

Corvette ran on June 24, GM announced it on July 31
