That was only one source, hardly an average lol
Not sure what you mean by that. I saw your reply from my yahoo mail, and directly replied without reading any other replies. Wasn't trying to "rub it in".......... :)

As I'm sure is news to no-one here, the more exclusive/rare the car, the more expensive the parts are likely to be. Front OEM brake pads for my viper are like $250 (USD), hell, a wiper blade is $165 (USD). Unfortunately for owners of rare/old cars, most OEM parts aren't even available anymore, at least that shouldn't be a problem for a GT500 for quite a few more years (hopefully)

All that having been said, I forget how much parts cost every time I start it up :)

Funny story….. the search for a GT500 was mentally exhausting. So much so that I gave up. A few months later(last October) an opportunity arose to buy back my GT for slightly less than I sold it for with about $11k more invested in it. I’ve been pretty busy, so I stuck it in the trailer when it was delivered and hadn’t taken it out since. Two weeks ago an ad popped up for a GT500 on Facebook and the second I saw it, I knew it was the one. Purchased that car two weeks ago on Monday, listed my GT for sale again and had it sold within 2 days. My GT500 was delivered last Sunday night. Drove it for the first time yesterday. The car I picked up had a whipple and built shortblock. Made 1233hp. 22 Atlas Blue CFTP. I was specifically not looking for modified cars, but when I saw the listing, I knew this was it.
