I am financially capable of owning one as well. I don't care what your opinion of my opinion is either. I am not personally attacking you. If you can appreciate the heritage or not is of no concern of mine, I just questioned your statement of not having ever been a fan of one of America's mist iconic sportscars. I have over GT500 money in my '18 GT, I owned a GT500 before, albeit a much cheaper less capable version than the one you own. It doesn't change the fact that the DHSC is taking the "secretaries car" into a financial area that leaves a lot of Mustang enthusiasts wondering what has happened to the direction of the brand. $130k+ versions of a car that was nowhere near that less than a decade ago, without the Shelby name and mystique puts it into a new category. If you don't or can't see that, so be it. My original question still stands. Who are they trying to attract? Btw, the GTD isn't selling as well as they originally thought either. Look and see how many are sitting.lol Judgemental much? Why do people think in such binary terms? I can still appreciate the heritage and history of something while not finding any personal value to it. I donāt particularly care for the Firebird either and itās has a strong history. And I really donāt give aif you think that doesnāt make me a āpure car guyā.
And whose wish list are you talking about? Iām more than financially stable enough to afford a $170K car. That doesnāt mean I have to rush out and buy one. Iām quite comfortable in my GT500 ownership (which has over $50K in mods) that I have no desire to buy a DHSC.
It seems to me that youāre failing to think beyond yourself here. The DHSC isnāt unobtainable. Itās just unobtainable for manyā¦.and those are the people complaining the most. Those who can and want to will either buy it, or they wonāt. You personal opinion and complaining about it wonāt change that. This whole bitchfest happened over the GT500 too. And guess what, Ford sold EVERY one of them.
GTDs Sitting? Where?I am financially capable of owning one as well. I don't care what your opinion of my opinion is either. I am not personally attacking you. I don't think that's quite the argument that you believe it is. The US 2026 median income is predicted to be between $86 & $90 thousand dollars. Which puts any of the DHSC variants well above the total median income, not above half of it.And overpriced secretaries car? I guess youād call a 65-66 GT350, or a 67-68 GT500 and overpriced secretaries car considering they cost over half of the median income of those years?
Well he doesnāt care about my opinion so I guess it doesnāt matter how ineffective it isI don't think that's quite the argument that you believe it is. Enjoy your day. You clearly have a better grasp on the universe then I. I'll go back to groveling and complaining in someone else's presence. You win.GTDs Sitting? Where?

Itās great you donāt care about my opinion, but you keep replying to it. But, by all means keep complaining about the DHSC, let us know when Ford listens to you and changes direction![]()
Iļø, like you, have a GT 500 and can afford the DHSC. My main issue that Iļø have stated on this forum before is that Ford did not advance the DHSC far enough over the 500 for me to consider or even want to purchase one. Same engine, supercharger, and transmission as the 500. Sure some brake and suspension upgrades that the average non track driver would probably not notice. Iļø am grateful Ford is continuing the mustang. Maybe if the did a Boss rebrand with a NA 7.3 manual Iļø would have been giddy. But Iļø digress.lol Judgemental much? Why do people think in such binary terms? I can still appreciate the heritage and history of something while not finding any personal value to it. I understand the carbon wheels are $5500 each. The brakes are probably another $10K.Pricing is high but about right in this day in age. Still an over 800 hp car from the factory. The carbon wheels alone are probably 15k
Yes thatās true, however as the loyal owner of several Fords since the 90ās I think I have earned the place to bitch about it.I find it funny that the loudest complainers arenāt even shopping the price range this car is in. Thereās a very small minority of people this model is built forā¦the rest of em are in the EcoBoost/GT group of buyers.
Well, I would prefer a DHSC over a Z06 because I never liked corvettes and I donāt buy cars based on which one has the best bragging rights at one metric or another. In fact the vast majority of people donāt shop that way either. And since the Mustang has not gone out of production since 1965 Iād say Ford kinda has a pretty good idea of what market they fill.
Or maybe a bunch of randos on an insignificant chat forum know better than them

Yep thatās about rightI understand the carbon wheels are $5500 each. The brakes are probably another $10K.
Oh damn, gottem! You don't and apparently never will.
This...... Never really a "vette" guy, but was put off by the gaudyness of the C7. C8 took that to a whole new level. I've always been a "sleeper" guy though.Last good looking Vette IMO. Love to put this next to my 21 Shelby GT500.
