From what what i've gathered in this thread, the whipple will pull ahead due to it's size and 132mm/150mm TB, they have practically no pressure drop across them so the rotors have access to ambient pressure, which means more power. The Edelbrock with the 103mm will be a good TVS 2650 option though, performs better than the Roush purely on the fact that they have a blower plenum thats much larger and they will have a inlet to allow for larger TBs.Sure would love to see a Whipple vs Edelbrock comprehensive comparison. For all the people on the fence between which way to go.
We were able to make over 750whp with a stock throttle body and some octane. From what what i've gathered in this thread, the whipple will pull ahead due to it's size and 132mm/150mm TB, they have practically no pressure drop across them so the rotors have access to ambient pressure, which means more power. If the goal is to stay in the 700-750whp range though, I think they will both get the job done.

The factory strut tower brace will not fit over the supercharger.Retain tower brace?
Nothing that I am aware of. The hoods on these cars are just so low.To our Edelbrock Tech, have you seen any aftermarket (or custom-made) strut tower braces that WILL fit over your supercharger?
Ok thank you and darn. With a PP1 Vert I just dont feel like I can lose that brace. The factory strut tower brace will not fit over the supercharger.
A stiffer front anti-roll bar may be the ticket then if they make one for the 'vert.Ok thank you and darn. With a PP1 Vert I just dont feel like I can lose that brace.
