I used JLT on my Raptor I just sold, but went with UPR for the 2019 Mustang with Whipple. I still think itās over priced but was hopping for a drama free install. Just received the UPR looks like a nice kit, now I just waiting for the Whipple and the car to show up.
These things have to be on some sort of hold and they wonāt tell us. Only thing my dealer could find was a possible horn TSB. I trust my dealer has been looking into it I bought two cars from them last month and have a great relationship with them. Just sucks to think itās just sitting...
I am starting to get cold feet on this order.
Ordered 8/22 first ETA was 11-7 long gone second eta 11-26. Pretty sure that isnāt going to happen as it still doesnāt show in transit. Now itās winter.
If they are holding these up for QC who knows but just starting to think maybe I should do...
The more I research the more I canāt decide. A lot of good options for FI setups. These damn OPGās have me just not knowing what to do. Really donāt feel like doing those on a brand new car. Going to be hard enough just waiting to put some miles on before FI. Car should be here soon.
Looks like a lot of work. I hat to,chance things but leaning towards skipping this one and crossing fingers. If I skip would that be any reason to stick to stage 1 Whipple Instead of stage 2.
So how are the 2018 and 2019ās OPGās and CGās holding up. Going Whipple when mine come in and really donāt want to go through this hassle if not needed. I am reading the 18 ās and up got a better balancer is that enough to save these parts?
Thanks for the feedback.
I am going to try and go on Friday night, I am headed to Manhattan on Sat for the K-state game. Would love to see the car run sometime for sure.
No, thank you for taking the time to let me know. I sell QA1 where I work so canāt wait to hear your impresions of that piece as I may go that route as well. I try and research everything fully before a purchase regardless.
