If you wrecked and totalled your Mustang, what would you replace it with?

Maybe a ZL1. Or something with 4 doors. Maybe a Charger Scat Pack. Maybe a F150 (possibly Raptor) or some cheap used car to get me by till I can afford a 570s or R8 or Huracan.

Good choice... I actually sold my Mustang Friday and bought my scat pack today.

Some of you guys are mentioning some very different cars and it makes me wonder why you bought the Mustang in the first place, and/or if you kinda want to trade it in right now, heh.

For me, it'd probably be a 2018 Mustang GT... I'm liking everything we know about it on paper so far. Just need to see it (and hear it) in person. Might think about something like a used S4 or E92 M3, though.

I hear what you are saying, but there is more to eat than steak. Sometimes its nice to have the chicken. Nothing wrong with trying different things.

Having said that, I dearly love my CS vert and I am planning on having it for a long time. But there is nothing wrong with me thinking, that someday, I will own a corvette as well....:ford:

A 2018 Premium GT with the PP2....and Magnetic shocks.

Or buy something really cheap until the mach1 finally comes out.

That's a tough question. I think I would replace it with a new 2018 or find a used 2016 CO configured the same as the one I currently have. I'd most likely go brand new though.

I'd get right back into the mustang albeit slightly used... I've been through all walks of life already in the American segment( Zeta Camaro, Charger and Challenger, and C6 corvette).... I feel at home with the mustang. Well, I've have yet to try a CTS-V Might look into one of those later in life.

This 2016 Mustang is the last car I'll ever buy new again. The amount of money you lose is close to 20k if you're in a GT premium model.. I'm tired of taking that hit for a car I'll mod anyway... i'll let someone else do it

That low score was based on the lack of "nannies" to protect bad drivers if you actually read it. It scored high in occupant testing.

Scored high in testing here.
First I had heard of a newer stang with such poor ratings. Will check other sources to verify those findings. My s197 had a 5 rating wtf

The US agencies seem to think it's pretty good. I couldn't care less what overseas says (and based on their model).

Got the highest score in all categories for both IIHS and NHTSA except small overlap front.

2015 2016 and 2017 all have the same scores.
