OP, I was reading some reviews that said the stock tires on the GT350 are no good. So you might as well burn 'em up, and then get some decent tires.

While you are doing that, if you could setup video to record your cylinder head temps, we would really appreciate that

Really not sure where most likely west side of town. With temps in the 40's when most of the time we have snow and freezing our buns off at this time LOL.

everyone that did a rough break in at our dyno day this last sunday had higher horsepower than the "correct break in procedure" cars.

so long as oil temps were warm, have fun with it ;)

Go out and drive the car I'm not into babying new cars. Maybe it's from being diesel tech we tell new truck owners load it up heavy, make it work hard, get it warmed up good.

Pilot Super Sports? Really? They're regarded as some of the best performance street tires out there by most people that I've talked to.

depends on what you want. The dry grip was only on par with the other max performance tires when released. They were amazing because they didn't murder you in the wet like the other tires, and they lasted like a much less aggressive tire. Even then you could get faster in the dry tires, but that whole deal with finding yourself upside down in the ditch if a cloud popped over the horizon wasn't that popular an idea for a real street tire.

Today I'd say its still by far the best street tire for a performance car, only reservation being that there is reports that Ford had a tread pattern and compound changed for even more wet performance.

before this takes on a life of its own, my previous comment was for entertainment purposes only. I have no idea what the performance characteristics of the stock GT350 tires are, or how they compare to anything else.
