I dont really feel like grinding anything when it comes time to do mine, especially if its not needed with the whipple. Any modification needed on whipples?

Also my concern with the Roush is if I ever wanted to push the limits (after motor build) I maybe restricted by the blower, not so much with the whipple. On procharger kits, if I run a P1sc and wanted to go up in power, could I simply swap to a D1 head unit??

3.2/3.6kb or turbo will give you room to grow with a built motor. The whipple 2.9 is still a pretty small blower.

Agreed, my GT500 was at a mere ~540 to the wheels and was anything but tame.

Downright lethal in the wrong hands on the OEM tires.....
We have a winner! Someone gets it.

I did think this was over....having fun looking at all the posts now.

He's not the only one who "get's it" lol. Basic common sense for most of us. Just not the few Billy badasses of the forum who think anything below 1000hp is "slow" ;)

Nothing billy badass about it. 600rwhp in a 4000lb "race weight" car just isn't fast.

I find these cars straight up boring with anything under 750-800rwhp.

If all you are used to is 400rwhp 15 gt's, and hop into a 600rwhp 15GT, sure it will be "fast" to you. The reality is it's not fast. Not trying to put anyone down.

LOL - This is pretty damn funny. These guys are talking about a daily driver - not race cars. Anything under 750rwhp boring? ROFL. Sounds a little billy bad ass to me.

BTW, I didn't realize 10.90s, 130+mph trap times, on street tires with under 750rwhp on these cars was boring.

I can and often do drive my 1000+rwhp mustangs on a regular basis. I took my 15 on the hotrod power tour as a long hauler.

10.90's for street cars was "fast" 10 years ago.

Do you know what modification are required for a 3.2/3.6? Seems like the k-brace has to be cut simply judging by the size of the inlet.

Clearly it's all relative. Either you are incredibly ignorant and fail to realize that your way of thinking, relative to what's "fast" in an every day street car, is in a galaxy far...far away from the norm. Or you just like playing the part of billy badass frowning upon what most enthusiasts consider to be very fast.

Also, just want to say for the record, your young friend better be VERY CAREFUL, because I guarantee he has no clue how dangerous a 700-1000rwhp car can be on the street. He's coming from a civic, and is being brainwashed by your billy badass way of thinking. Hope he doesn't hurt anyone.

10.90s was fast. Rofl. Okay buddy.

It's funny that only 7 guys on this site have sub 10.90 cars. 10.90s is fast. I know guys with 150hp bikes that are only doing 11.1s.

And nobody said you couldn't drive 1000hp cars around. But me personally wouldn't daily drive 1000hp waste of fuel.

I totally agree!
Maybe if you are strictly talking about "fast and the furious" outlaw street racing scenes. But most of us are not part of that sub culture.

Automotive experts and journalists will call cars that can run 12's brutally fast. And for every day driving, and in most situations on the street, that's true.

600rwhp + cars are insanely fast for an every day street car. You have to be very careful at those power levels, even in a 3800lb car. And it's rare you can even use all that power, at least on the roads most of us drive on, on a daily basis.

Again, it's all relative. To make it a general statement that a 600rwhp street car is "slow" is plain and simply asinine.
