Any negative comments toward your Mustang?

At a car show a few weeks ago, I had a guy with a 2009 Challenger SRT start ranting about how anyone could buy a Mustang, the back seat is useless, and how he can go a 150mph with four people in his car. I responded by telling him that at least he won't die alone when his POS goes off the road at 150.

Your wrong. The boat's weight will keep it on the road.

Not really any negative comments but i do see that s197 owners are very jealous.They always seem to ignore me at lights. I do get thumbs up from foxbody guys and got a wave from a 65 once.

The S197 owners aren"t jealous, they just don"t like the S550,and refuse to acknowledge them as a Mustang,after all the time that has passed since the S550 came out, and all the hate threads on this topic this should come as no surprise,and it isn"t going to change.Foxbody & Mustang II are another example of not accepted Mustangs, and look how many years that has stood.

Had a neighbour give me a negative comment about my Mustang. He tends to walk around the neighborhood and act as the self appointed neighborhood watch.
Saw the car, "New toy huh?"
Me: Yup.
Him: Alright.

Then when I'm putting it away when it starts raining, "Yeah that's not a good car for this city."

Yeah, ok. Lol.

I've also gotten the, "American cars are unreliable/low quality" from people.
But when I ask what they drive....

I usually don't get any comments but did get a couple nice one's. One guy got out of his truck and was checking it out really good. He asked if it was the new Mustang. He even got down low to the ground looking at the rear diffuser. I haven't gotten one negative comment.

I also get people that have to speed up to get in front of me then slow down for some reason :shrug:

never. Matter of fact I always get asked "Is it the 5.0???" to which I usually have a bit of anxiety responding that its the EB or 2.3t. So far, everyone has unanimously said "Oh wow that's still really fast"

No one has given me a hard time about the EB. I think the car is such a looker it doesn't even matter to the casual onlooker

i don't get the bag hate, both the air lift on s197 and s550 just looks so mean in person... I wannntttt
