Like l2frankie said, it doesn't auto-lock. It's telling you it's lost detection of the key.

Yeah, I thought my car did that too. My car wasn't locked lol

No setting sir. Car does not lock when walking away from it regardless if it on or off. I just tap the handle.

Yea thats what I mean, I thought it did, and the other day, I walked away and thought I would check go checkt after a few minutes and it wasnt locked , and I always kept my mind in piece thibking my car did lock itself, and makes me wonder how many times I have left it unlocked somewere totally unaware

Ive been leaving mine unlocked when I go places! How the hell is it always locked when I go to get something out of it when I am home?!?! common sense tells me its locking on its own....My 4 year old tells me he's been locking it so none messes with HIS mustang...Who knew? Learned something today.
