Was speaking to Dan & this is the process he mentioned that he goes through:
Protection is gone through a 28 step process that includes 4 stage wash, foam lance, wash down with mitts, clay and 2 stage decontamination process, IPA wipedown, air dry down, air out of crevices, mask the car up, paintwork receives a 2 stage correction to amplify gloss and get rid of dealership slight defects, prime the paintwork, and then layering the paint with 2-3 coats of the coating followed by top coat, paintwork is worked under 21,000 lumen LED lights


I negotiated with him, & he agreed to the following:
2 coats of Opticoat pro+ and 1 extra layer of the Opticoat pro+ // both separate coats over a period of 2 days at the shop plus full preparation carpets coated and leather seats and wheels with warranty card // Lifetime if maintained or 7 years.
Usually -> $900 exterior + $390 interior + $120 extra coat + $100 wheels ($1510 RRP)

Hi Guys

I have my mustang opti-coat ed with Dan at Ultimate detailing in Ferntree Gully. I am very happy with the result.
My stang is now shinning like a mirror and dirt comes off really easily. The best thing is, water just roll off the surface.

Dan is a great to do business with, very nice guy. Even took me to work after I dropped off the car.

Highly recommended!

Just got mine back from Dan and gotta say what a perfectionist. The car looks great and Dan is super friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. He will be posting some pics on FB soon, but I have some in the Show Us Your Stang thread taken with my mobile.

Also had my mustang Opticoated by Dan at Ultimate Car Detailing about 1 month ago (Kevr group deal). He did a fantastic job with the car looking amazing.
I would recommend him to anyone thinking of having their car Opticoated. Also had the windows tinted at the same time (Kustom car tinting) and they too did a great job as well.

Just got the Mustang6g Opticoat Pro + package completed on my car and the car is super smooth with a mirror finish.

Dan did an exceptional job and spent an entire 4 days to put 4 coats of Opticoat on my pride and joy. Got the Interior and the wheels coated as well

Here is a few pics of the exceptional work Dan did to my car. The bloke is exceptional in his service even picked me up from my place to go pick up my car. I highly recommend mustang owners to get it done!

So I picked the car up yesterday after a few days at Ultimate Detailer - extremely happy!

Dan is the nicest guy to deal with, he loves cars and is a true professional in what he does. He did an amazing job and the car looks beautiful! For $1,100 it's definitely worth it!

Also while I was there we did window tinting too, which turned out awesome (didn't go with darkest legal as I wanted something functional).

See attached photo after driving it in the rain, notice how the water just beads and literally falls off!

For piece of mind and ease of maintainance, it's money well spent in my opinion More pics to come once the weather gets better...
