Which series do you have? I'm just wondering if it's worth the extra money for the ultimate series. I really like the way you drain the oil.
The only difference is the hoses- rubber vs braided and the braided have AN fittings.

The basic one is what I have.

Many of the testing/pre-production GT350s by some pictures had a separator strikingly similar looking to (if not were) Bob's

That seems like a pretty slow rate. I mean its vapor it will be more like a smoke and gets flushed down the cylinders with fuel. I can't see what kind of problem it can cause.
Yes there will be some build up but is that gonna cause any issues?
I can tell you this...they do catch oil and the oil caught is otherwise introduced in the combustion process that does lower the fuel octane.

I installed this JLT the first week I owned the car. In the photo, not sure how much oil it is but it was after about 500 miles. I dont want it in my intake manifold.

Also...the more engine braking you do...the more oil it catches from the increased pressure.

I too am very interested in the track key. I ordered a Steeda no-tune CAI to preserve my warranty. This would be a great option to pair with it! I can't imagine how much those Voodoo heads will be...

So I have to keep emptying it?
I too have a JLT AOS on my GT. AOS's were very popular with the turbo Subaru's (2011 WRX). Getting the Mustang, I didn't think it would be a big deal with an NA engine. However, as others have said, it's strongly recommended and basically acts as an insurance policy, helping to keep things clean and gunk free.

I have mine emptied at every oil change (~5,000 miles). I've never tracked the car. It's just a daily driver. Had an oil change last Wednesday and there wasn't a ton in there but definitely a few tablespoons worth. If you can easily avoid having that get into the engine, do it!

Currently, I only have it on the passenger side which is the "dirty" side. However, I believe there are some out there for the drivers side as well. From what I've read, the drivers side is much cleaner but still might not be a bad idea...

If they do the track key like they did on the Boss 302 it will work like this. Purchas the kit and ford will re flash your computer and provide you with two keys. These keys will have a chip in them that will interface with the cars computer and it will know if it's the street or track key.

I think it's a cool idea but I wouldn't buy it. I'm good with the driving modes that came with my premium. I do like the oil separator and will probably shell out some money for it.

Don't worry the intake has been coming soon for more than a year. I gave up waiting for it.
I was close on giving up, then winter hit so the car is parked anyway. But if this stupid CAI isn't out by April I'll admit defeat and buy a Roush.

Ford, the 2016s are well into production!!!!!! :frusty:

Hmmmm.......interesting.
Okay so I'm not sure if you are familiar with the Dodge challenger Hellcat. My friend has one and it comes with a key like ours and he has two keys a black one which restricts to 500 odd horsepower and a red one which is kinda like a track key I guess it gives the full 700~ Hp. The proximity sensor which detects keys can detect the track key or in his case the red key via the wireless signature of the key. That's what I've made of it.
