First Shelby GT350 in the 11's quarter-mile (11.96 @ 116 MPH)

I was and yes it was the lockout kit. As we all know the IRS has bad wheel hop.

Does it change how the car feels on the road at all?

The GT350 is an awesome car stock but with the lock out kit it did give the car a more planted feel in my opinion.

I'm guessing ford equipped the car with solid units, but being the car is for road course purposes, I'm guessing it can go either way.

I don't think that they're solid, but they are upgraded from the GT. Let me see if I can find that thread in a minute, or maybe someone else has it on hand.

Well with no other gear options out there only time will tell. But from what I've seen I would say yes it could use a different gear.

It absolutely counts to make my point that OHC is older than push rod tech.
